Danielle's POV

“When are we going back to the company?” I asked Bryan days after Ella had been discharged. We have been in his house and Pa Bruno came around once or twice. Gabriel on the other hand seems to be very angry at me. He refused to pick any of my calls and he didn't call me either and that has gotten me worried. He knows I was here but still, he doesn't think I should be here. That's because he does know the kind of connection I have with Bryan now.

Speaking of connection, I haven't been talking to Bryan the way I should. There's this kind of fear that broke out inside me the day he confessed his feelings to me. I felt so special and important for the first time in my life and looking at him now is a load of work that doesn't look possible.
