His words cut through me like a blade when he called me "cheap," but I swallowed the pain and forced a smile. Ignoring the venom in his tone, I stepped forward, wrapping my arms around him, pulling him close. "Not dressed like a slut, but as a seductress—just for you, my husband," I whispered, my voice trembling with a mix of defiance and longing.

I bit my lip, trying to appear alluring, but Areen’s gaze was cold—disgust etched across his face as his eyes scrutinized me, as if searching for something hidden behind my actions. Seizing the silence, I leaned in and pressed a soft kiss to his cheek. For the briefest moment, I felt his body react, a flicker of warmth, but his face remained as cold as ever.

With a look of adoration, I sought his eyes, my heart beating faster, but he pushed me away with force, his anger erupting like a storm. "What are you doing? Are you out of your mind?" he spat, his words like daggers.

I stood stunned, unable to speak, before he grabbed my arm roughly, his grip biting into my skin. "I don’t know what game you’re playing, my ugly wife," he sneered. "But trust me, I have no interest in playing with you."

Each word felt like it tore my heart apart, but I refused to let them defeat me. As he stormed towards the drawer, ignoring me completely, a surge of determination coursed through me. This is my last chance. I can’t fail now.

I cast aside my pride and approached him again, wrapping my arms around his torso from behind. His body tensed under my touch, but I held on tightly, whispering, "I need you. Please."

I trailed kisses along his neck, my voice dripping with desperation. His response was swift and cruel—he spun around, fury in his eyes. "What kind of woman throws herself at a man to satisfy her lust?" he mocked, his words cutting deeper than I thought possible.

I felt small, insignificant, his voice laced with disdain. "I pity you," he continued, his words sharp and bitter. "I regret every moment of marrying you."

His rejection shattered me. Tears welled in my eyes, and I found my voice trembling but resolute. "Then why did you marry me?" I asked, my heart breaking as I sought some kind of answer.

His response was colder than I could have imagined. "I was forced. Do you think a future Alpha would willingly marry an Omega like you?" His words hit like a thunderclap, ringing through my mind.

Tears spilled down my cheeks as he continued, his voice filled with ice. "Two years ago, you drugged me and forced yourself into my life. You disgust me. My grandfather made me marry you to save our family’s reputation, or I wouldn’t even look at someone like you."

"I didn’t drug you!" I cried, my voice raw with anguish. "Something happened that night, something I don’t understand. I’m a victim too!"

His anger flared, and he yanked my hair, forcing me to meet his furious gaze. "Don’t raise your voice at me, you filthy Omega. I’ll make your miserable life even worse if you try to defy me."

I pushed him away, my voice breaking as I confessed the one truth I couldn’t keep hidden anymore. "But I love you! I’ve loved you for so long."

His expression faltered for a fraction of a second, shock flickering in his eyes. But then he laughed—a bitter, mocking sound. "Stop this charade," he scoffed. "You’re not even worth my time. Do you honestly think I’ll ever make you my Luna? You’re delusional."

His words stabbed at my soul, but I refused to let him leave without an answer. Wiping my tears, I forced a smile through the pain. As he turned to walk away, I called out, "Or is it that you don’t want to touch me because you’re not man enough?"

He froze in his tracks, his body stiffening. He turned to face me, eyes burning with fury. "What did you just say?"

Summoning every last ounce of courage, I locked eyes with him. "I said, you’re not man enough to bed me."

His laughter was dark and mocking. "Have you forgotten how you screamed my name in bed? Or how much you bled when I took you without mercy?"

His words sent a shiver down my spine, but I held my ground. "That was a month ago. Maybe you’ve changed. Maybe you’ve lost your strength," I taunted, my voice dripping with defiance.

His rage boiled over, and in a heartbeat, he was on me. He grabbed my arms and shoved me onto the bed with such force that I gasped. His body hovered over mine, breath hot and ragged, as he growled, "You want proof of my masculinity?"

My heart raced as he tore at my nightgown, his eyes dark with a feral intensity. "Tonight," he murmured, "you’ll see exactly what kind of man I am. And I’ll make sure you won’t be able to get up from this bed for days."

Before I could process his words, his lips slammed into mine, fierce and demanding.
