Chapter 131: Rodney's Threats

Rodney had wanted to take Nancy straight to London to a private house he has which he believed that his wife knew nothing about but one of his goons, the one who had waited for him on the road to help in the switch advices him against it.

'The way you said those men chased after you, I am sure they know you are responsible for this'.

'How can they know? They didn't see my face!' he said harshly.

'Well, since you have made a visit to them and indicated your interest in the lady and her baby, they would automatically think you responsible. They might not have evidence against you but they definitely will suspect you'. he insisted.

'What exactly are you saying?'

'I am saying that you stay here a bit longer, say for a few days, let them get tired of searching for you or you go with the lady to London in a disguise. That way, they may be looking at you but won't recognize you'.
