Chapter 64 Fate.

The sound of water flowing keeps me from losing my mind as I stroll along the riverside walkway. With dark clouds in the sky and no sunlight to bask in, I take deep breaths of the cold air and sigh heavily.

"This is difficult," I whisper to myself.

Plop!

Plop!!

One by one drops of rain landed on my face, the skies could barely hold back and it began to drizzle, the temperature dropping drastically and I had to run to shelter as I could sense the coming rain was no joke.

Making a run for safety, I feel a heavy blow against my skirt, "sh*t!" I cry out of frustration as I try holding it down from both sides while I run.

"This looks like a nice spot," a cafe door was wide open, although not literally, the sign on the door did say "open."

I make my way inside and take shelter before the rain can outrun me.

I shiver as I make my way inside, my teeth gnashing against each other and my arms tightly wrapped around me.

"This feels like perfect weather for two," I mutter to myself with a chuckle
