"Umm…" He's uncomfortable as he continuously clears his throat and sits back. His eyes were not leaving this dish before him, and he would often make small chuckles.

I was wondering why he was so kind and courteous towards me, perhaps he was treating me like he would treat a Luna, not a mere human who's against him.

"... I don't know what to say," he begins, his fingers fidgeting as he laughs once again. "I wasn't expecting this so forgive my rude behavior."

"It's fine," I answered.

"Vida was it, why did you take up the case if I may ask?"

I see the once confident man tremble while he panics, his words at his throat while patiently waiting for my response.

"As a lawyer, it is my responsibility to defend the helpless, especially those with no one by their side, also I took up the case because I am a mother, and I understand fully well how my client feels," I tell him.
