Rose's POV

Adriel looked hesitant, his brows furrowing as he considered the idea. "I've never really been open to talking about my past with anyone, Rose. But if you think it might help then..."

I squeezed his hand reassuringly. "I truly believe it could make a difference. She's a therapist, Adriel, and she's helped so many people. Just think about it, okay? I won't force you if you don't want to."

After a moment, he nodded slowly. "Alright. I'll give it a try. For us."

A mixture of relief and hope washed over me. "Thank you, Adriel. You're incredibly strong for taking this step." I said with a peck to his cheek.

The next morning, I woke up to the gentle rays of the sun filtering through the curtains. Adriel was already awake, sitting by the window with a contemplative expression. I could tell he was deep in thought about the upcoming call.

I got out of bed and walked over to him, placing a hand on his shoulder. "Hey," I said softly, "are you ready for this?"
