Rose's POV

Finally, I took a deep breath, fully stepping into the forbidden mountains. As I walked in, it all changed. The sun disappeared and it became dark, just like we moved to midnight.

Shadows danced across the uneven ground, casting an almost mystical aura upon the surroundings.

I tightened my grip on the strap of my backpack, where I kept my compass, a small dagger, and some food.

Since no one knew what the path of the forbidden forest looked like, I had no advice or map. Just my feet taking me where it feels safe.
