Royal's POV

As I anxiously paced the hospital hallway, questions swirled in my mind, each one more pressing than the last. How did Rico fall sick all of a sudden? What could be the cause of his sudden illness? I knew I needed answers, and I couldn't rest until I had them.

I hurriedly pulled out my phone and dialed the number I knew by heart, the number that connected me to Alpha Rico's mother, Lady Loretta. As the phone rang, my heart pounded in my chest, the weight of the situation hanging heavily upon me.

"Royal?" Lady Loretta's voice came through the phone, filled with concern. "What's the matter? Is everything all right?"

The urgency in her voice only fueled my own desperation. "Lady Loretta," I began, my voice trembling slightly. "It's Rico. He's fallen critically ill, and the doctors are doing everything they can, but it's a long and arduous journey to recovery. I thought you should know. We need you here."
