Chapter 3

Eliza felt her world stop. “I thought he was in the rural area, helping with the fish investment. What is he doing her in NY City?” She asked anxiously.

She felt her bones go weak as she fell to the ground in a thud. “The tabloids are going to raid my house. I am going to be on the news as the woman who killed the most handsome and wealthy bachelor in America.”

She held her hands in her head and she continued sweeping her misfortunes, “And not to talk about his female crazed fans, I would definitely be out for my blood. Will I die?”

“Ah!! I shouldn’t have gone through the woods. No! I shouldn’t have gone for vacation in the first place. Bad things happen when you rest and become idle. And an idle man is a devil's work shop.”

Eliza sighed, leaned on the wardrobe door. “I am so paranoid, I am already quoting religious Proverbs.”

“MY LIFE IS OVER”

After minutes of wailing about her misfortune, Eliza remembered her all so brilliant idea back when she was in the woods.

“Since he doesn’t know that I was the one who hit him, I would blackmail him to keep his mouth shut about it. And if he doesn’t agree then…”

She went limp with despair as she tilted her head to the side, “Then I suffer and go to jail. And I will be sentenced to death by hanging or gun shot or electrocution.”

Her emotions were raging like humoral imbalance.

“But first things first. We heal him and hopefully, kick him out once he is fully recovered.”

She sighed looking at him, knowing that her plan to call the ambulance was down the drain.

After all, how could she call an ambulance when the man in question was a wealthy celebrity.

Eyeing him angrily, she said to him. “You make me so mad.”

Moving to his pants, she pulled it down without thinning and the bulge from his boxers caught her off guard.

“That is what you are packing in there!?” At this point she was just fooling herself and trying to hide her fear.

But that didn’t change the fact that he was really big, blessed down there.

“What would Lyric say, if she saw nothing like this?” She thought, think about her friend.

Clearing her throat, she mimicked her friend's voice, “Oh bloody fucking hell, He is really endowed. I would love to ride on—” she paused as she knew she couldn’t bring herself to complete the unfiltered words of her friend.

Eliza carried on with cleaning his legs and his lower part. She avoided his private part, as she was neither shameless nor confident to clean him there.

Grabbing the first aid box, she began threading a needle to stitch him up. Her first aid box was not the usual type of box. She had literally everything you would need in the hospital in the box.

This was simply because she worked with rare and unusual plants and flower. She had being poisoned so many times by the plants, she had just had to get them.

It was really uncomfortable going to the hospital and telling them, she uses herself to experiment in some things.

And if it was necessary, Lyric, her friend was an excellent doctor and would always book a private section for her away from other doctors.

Placing the needles and thread to the side, she brought out normal saline. Taking his arm in hers, she rubbed at it as she searched for any sign of his vein.

After minutes of searching she finally found it, though faint and weak, but it was there.

Once she had settled his arm aside, she climbed over him and began stitching his chest, She shook her head as she did so, the wound looked deep as she contemplated taking him to the hospital.

“It really looks like the wild animal was ready to gauge his chest open and take his heart out.”

She sighed as she met his sleeping face. He was a handsome man, she would admit.

“Handsome but foolish. What were you even looking for in the woods so late at night? Dumb rich people with their dumb rich hobbies. Running around thinking they have nine lives just because they are rich.” Eliza shook her head as she tugged on the last thread as she cut it with the scissors.

Coming down from his body, she moved to his legs. And as she expected, he had a fractured his Tibia. “This will have to be in a splint.” Glancing at the clock she wondered if she could run to the nearby drug store across the street to get one.

Deciding against it, she opted to just use a bandage and tomorrow she would get the splint.

Eliza went to her greenhouse. It was only a green house because of the plants, but truthfully it was merely her attic she turned into a green house.

Slipping her gloves on, she searched for the plant she was looking.

“Where is it? C’mon, I see it every time, it can’t be when I really need you, you vanish into thin air.” She cursed under her breath. In her hand was a small gardening scissors and a bowl.

After searching for a while she finally found the plant she was looking for.

Calendula plant.

She was going to make Calendula paste for his marks from the Calendula plant, as it would aid with better cleaning. Sitting down on the closest chair she could find, she got herself busy with the plant.

Immediately she was lost in her zone, her body moved fluidly and easily as everything seemed to just come freely to her. The way she crushed it to a powder and mixed oil into it. Turning it to a paste.

Grabbing the honey, she drizzled a bit into it stirring the thick like consistency

It was clear she really loved plants and things to do with it.

She was finally done with the plant and she left the attic. Passing the dinning table, her eyes caught on the turmeric that sat on the table.

“That will help” She muttered as she grabbed the jar of turmeric and went back to the guest from.

Climbing on him, she started by rubbing a generous amount of Calendula paste and rubbing it around the marks. Rinsing her hands, she took the bandage and began wrapping around him like he was some burrito.

Leaving some out, she went ahead to wrap it around his fractured leg.

Standing back she stared at him, hoping she didn’t miss any part.

Cleaning up, it took her few minutes as she was starting to feel sleep wash over her.

Taking a cup and filling it with water she mixed the turmeric and honey in it and drank it. Walking towards him, she muttered. ‘Here goes nothing.’

She placed her lips over his.
