Apology and anger

Juss's POV

It was the kind of bright day that didn't seem so bright, and even though the sun was shining, you could just feel that something was wrong.

This was one of those days.

I was sitting in a beautiful field, having a picnic with my lovely babies.

I laughed and clapped in glee as they crawled around the mat and chewed on everything within reach. I couldn't bear to shout at them so I gently took whatever they'd picked up from them and kept it out of reach.

Then just as we were about to have dessert, Marlani and Sylvester appeared from nowhere and they each grabbed a baby and started running.

I rose up and chased after them but they were too fast. It was like chasing after a race car.

From time to time, they would both turn around and looked at me and then looked like maniacs. No matter how I begged or cried or pleaded no one listened to me.
