Jerome walked out of the boardroom and Stacy thrilled behind him.

"Jerome." She called and he paused. This will be the first time she is coming face to face with him since after the separation.

"Thank you, so much for what you did to me. I won't ask you how you knew about it but after all I did, I don't deserve your kindness." Stacy exclaimed.

"It's nothing, Stacy. After all, you are not my enemy, I loved you and I cannot watch your life crumble when I could do something to help out. So, consider it as nothing." Jerome replied.

"Thank you so much," Stacy said and he smiled at her.

"Take care, I have something to take care of," Jerome stated.

"Oh, by the way, congratulations on your engagement. I'm sorry I couldn't do it on time." Stacy said and instead of replying, he nodded his head and left.

Stacy stared at him until his shadow disappeared and retired to the boardroom where she met her family waiting for her.
