Chapter 242 Gaining Favor

Ronald was taken aback for a moment, then smiled warmly. “As you wish!”

While Ronald brought Wythe back home, the chaos in the Halsey estate was finally being sorted out. When Nydia returned to her room, she was stunned to find Wythe missing.

The computer screen was on, displaying a letter.

“Dear Grandpa and Grandma, thank you for your kindness. After careful consideration, I’ve decided to stay with my mom. Although I want to go abroad to see my dad, it’s clear you wouldn’t agree to let my mom and me go together. So, I have to go back. Sorry for breaking the security system, but it will be restored in two hours. Don’t worry! Wythe.”

Nydia had mixed feelings. On one hand, she was proud of her clever grandson.

On the other, she was saddened by the distance in their relationship.

More than anything, she regretted not being able to keep such a brilliant child close.
