Chapter 22 Could it really be him?

When Lydia woke up, the sunlight outside was just right, making her eyes sting as she opened them.

She instinctively raised a hand to shield herself from the sun, reflecting on everything that had happened yesterday. She felt a sudden pang of embarrassment.

She couldn't believe she had exposed her most disheveled self to a man she somewhat fancied.

And to make matters worse, she had blindly followed him home. Though nothing seemed out of line between them yesterday, she couldn't help but blush.

"You're awake?"

A low, seductive voice slipped into Lydia's ears, causing her to involuntarily look up.

The man in front of her seemed to have just come out of the bathroom, his hair still dripping, clad only in casual pants.

His upper body was bare, the sunlight accentuating his bronzed skin, accentuating his muscular physique. Lydia couldn't help but marvel at his perfect muscle definition.
