Lia walked toward the lake as she spoke on the phone. She did not want Quincy to eavesdrop on her conversation.

Quincy asked curiously, "Was it Linda who called?"

"Yes," Lia proudly answered.

"Linda told me that she showed my design to her director. She said the director thought highly of me and invited me to join their weekend team-building event. If all goes well, I'll be an intern at Queen Jewelry."
