Hayden froze, hearing that question from Kimberly. That was the last thing he expected to hear from her. He was surprised but was pleasantly so. Even if this was going to eventually happen, Hayden expected Kimberly to take much more time to process his feelings for her but Kimberly had popped up the question so soon. "I... I am sorry if you think that the question is weird. I will just..." Kimberly attempted to get off his laps but Hayden's grip tightened on her waist as he held her down onto his laps. "Yes""Ugh?""Yes, you can kiss me" he replied and a glint appeared in Kimberly's eyes. Before she could say a word, Hayden had leaned in close to her and took her lips into his, kissing her softly. It was the first kiss which was not a 'mistake' they would be apologizing for later on. Kimberly's arms wrapped around him as she reciprocated the kiss. Hayden nibbled gently on her lower lip and then licked on that spot, his tongue playing skillfully on her lip. Kimberly moaned softl
"Stop the car, please" Larisa said to the man driving the car. Leandro had insisted that she had to take someone along with her and in order not to raise too much suspicion, she had agreed with him easily. "Alright ma'am. But this place does not look like your home. Are you sure you would want to get down here?" The man asked and Larisa gave a small smile. "I would like to get down here. I will be going home after seeing someone here" She replied. "Yes, ma'am" The car was brought to a halt and Larisa stepped out of the car, clutching her handbag in one hand and her phone in the other hand. Larisa looked back at the man in the driver's seat and gave him a reassuring smile before facing the alleyway. The place was lonely and silent and gave Larisa an eerie feeling. Larisa considered just turning and leaving the place right away but she quickly shook the thought out of her head. She had to find everything out today. Larisa unlocked her phone and checked the address in the message
"Let's begin the meeting" Hayden said, standing by the side of Leandro who was seated in his magnificent chair while the other elders sat around the table. "We have all seen pictures of you, Alpha Leandro with a woman and upon our little investigation, we found out that she is Larisa Clements" one of the elders started. "And?" Leandro rested his gaze on the elder speaking, his tone impatient. "Larisa Clements is not amongst the list of eligible she wolves we compiled....""And am I obligated to pick only from the list you gave to me?" Leandro cut in. "Of course not, Alpha." The elder replied quickly."We just wonder why you would have chosen Larisa Clements" another elder said. "Larisa is my mate and she is the woman I am going to be with. She is the future Luna of the Pack and the only reason I am here is to inform you all of that. I and Larisa Clements will be getting married soon"Mumblings arose amidst the elders and continued until Leandro cleared his throat. "From now on,
Leandro parked his car in front of the black car. He stepped out of the car, clearly in worry and concern. "Alpha" the man standing by the car quickly greeted. "Where is Larisa?" Leandro questioned, ignoring the man's greeting. "She said she was going to see a friend around this place and asked me to wait here for her" the man replied innocently. Leandro growled and rushed to the man, slamming him into the car's body. "Where the fuck did I ask you to take her to? Why the heck would you bring her to a place like this?!" Leandro questioned, anger visible on his face. Fear crippled the man as his lips quivered. Leandro dropped him to the floor and let out a hot breath. "If I don't find her in an hour, you are dead. What way did she go?" "That way, Alpha" the man replied, pointing towards the path Larisa had walked through. "You pray I find her. If anything happens to her, you aren't dying alone but with your fucking family"Leandro began walking towards the path but stopped whe
Leandro got up from the body of Luciano, his claws dripping with Luciano's blood. He turned to look at Larisa who was now seated on the floor, looking tired and exhausted. Leandro let out a deep breath as he let his human features take over his wolf side. He walked over to Larisa and held her in his bloody hands. "Are you okay, Risa?" He asked her, his eyes scanning her body that was still covered in bruises. "I am sorry you had to go through this, Risa" he pulled her into a hug but Larisa could not hug him back, she only had one question for him. Pulling back weakly from the hug, she looked at Leandro. "Is anything wrong?" Leandro asked, noticing the look in her eyes. Larisa sucked in a huge amount of oxygen and a tear rolled down her cheek but she quickly wiped it away. "I want you to tell me the truth, Leandro" she started. "Let's get back home and have you treated first" Leandro said, more concerned about her safety and the safety of their pup more than the truth she wante
Larisa could not stop running even though she had no idea where she was off to. She just wanted to be as far away from Leandro as much as she could. Larisa ran for about half an hour with an energy she didn't know she had in her. Standing in front a forest, she broke down, shifting back into her human form. She knelt in front of the forest and buried her face in her palms. The thoughts of how big of a fool she had been to Leandro. He had used her parents and was manipulating her too. A part of her recalled his words. His several 'I love you' to her made it hurt the more. The way he still said those words to her even after she had just figured out what sort of monster he was. She wanted to hate him so much, she wanted her heart to swell with nothing but hatred for Leandro yet it was hard for that to happen. She could recall the hurt in his eyes and the way he seemed to shatter when he found out that she knew the truth now. And yet, if he did not love her at all, would he have killed
In The PresentLeandro remained on the grace of Luciano. It hurt to think about the past when he and Luciano hung out together and now Luciano was buried underneath all these soil. After what Luciano had done, Leandro and his father were thrown into a frenzy, trying to figure out a solution to what Luciano had done but the search was futile for the next two days and just when Leandro was about to give up on all of it, his father brought up the crazy idea of killing the moon blessed to pass the powers onto him. He had been against it initially as the thought of killing two innocent souls who were blessed by the moon goddess herself made him shiver but his father had assured him that they were going to be shedding the blood of two for the sake of the entire Pack. And then that night, the night before he was to be embarrassed publicly for being unable to shift in front of the entire Pack, Leandro had been bundled out of his room by his father and that was the night the ritual was done
"What's going on?" Kimberly asked softly as Hayden walked into the house, looking tired and exhausted. "A whole lot of issues for Leandro" Hayden replied, walking further into the living room. It was dark but he could see Kimberly seated on the sofa almost clearly. "Why are you not asleep yet? It's so late into the night" Hayden said, walking to the sofa and sitting beside her. "I was worried" Kimberly replied. "Worried? About me or about Leandro?" Hayden asked and Kimberly hesitated before responding. "About the both of you but I worried about you a little bit more"A smile lit up Hayden's face as he looked at her face. "That's great?" "What was the issues?" Kimberly asked but Hayden hesitated. Yes, he loved her but it would take time for him to rebuild the trust he once had in her. "I can't say yet. It involved Luciano, Leandro and Larisa. I don't know much about what transpired exactly" Hayden replied. "It stressed you out?" Kimberly asked, her hand reaching for his. "It
