The Deception of the Eye

“Raisa!” Arka shouted from behind. She hurriedly came over and wondered what her husband was fussing about.

“You haven't washed?” Arka asked with probing eyes.

“How can my work clothes still be this dirty. Isn't this from a week ago?” Arka looked angry. She was holding back her anger at the sight of the mountain of dirty clothes.

Raisa made a sad face, “I'm sorry, dear. I haven't had time to wash your clothes. Anya has been fussing lately,” Raisa defended herself. She made her face as sad as possible so that her husband would feel even angrier.

Arka looked at a book that Raisa was carrying. He then grunted in annoyance and walked away. Raisa put on an innocent face. She really felt like nothing had happened.

“Since when did Raisa become like this? Did she find out about my affair? But there's no way. If she had found out, she would have asked for an immediate divorce from me,” Arka muttered sitting in the television room.

Her hand moved to pick up the TV remote lying on the table.
