Poems along the Way

Raisa was now heading home, glancing at Auntie Iyem and Anya already asleep. They came home quite late in the afternoon and almost at night, because soon the sun would not show its existence.

Raisa let out a rough breath, feeling guilty about what had happened today. Raisa seemed to have betrayed Arka, her husband. But looking back, it was Raisa who was hurt, if her husband hadn't started first there was no way Raisa would have been happy to meet Nazril.

"Again I blame myself," Raisa muttered like a fool for repeatedly blaming herself. Along the way, Raisa chose to play poetry, because Raisa had always liked to write, especially with poetry, so Nazril read a poem when handing Raisa a bouquet of flowers. The woman smiled again, then played a poem in her car.
