Raisa's eyes only closed at around 3am. Before that she was busy organizing her heart and mind, most likely tomorrow morning her husband would return home. After the gastric surgery that almost took his life.

“Good morning,” Aunt Iyem said to Raisa who sat pensively on the porch. This time she was as usual, putting on a happy face as she waited for her regular cake seller.

“Are you waiting for someone?” asked Aunt Iyem, approaching Raisa while holding Anya, who had just woken up. Raisa's daughter was very beautiful, she had inherited Raisa's dark eyes and beautiful face.

Raisa nodded, “Yes. It looks like the cake seller was a little late, or didn't sell,” Raisa replied, occasionally looking at the road in front of her house.

“There he is,” Raisa said happily, immediately walking to the front of the house to approach the cake seller.
