I headed up to give Mike the money for our shopping, it was a big help. Peyton had been craving some weird shit recently, but we were going to her parent's house for lunch and didn’t have time to get to the shop ourselves. It was the first time she was seeing them in MONTHS, so naturally, she was really nervous. I tried to comfort her the best I could, but after how they acted the first and last time they met me and we told them about the pregnancy, well… I was kinda nervous too.

Knocking on Mike’s door, he called me in. Imagine my surprise when I opened the door and he was standing there... Dressed in an old Halloween costume.

‘What the fuck are you doing?!’ I asked, trying not to laugh at him. He took off the mask and shrugged.

‘What?’

‘Why are you wearing that!?’

‘I just have a thing tonight’. I just shrugged. Ok, whatever, weird but none of my business.

‘Here bro, Money for the shopping’. I held it out to him, but he shook his head, tellin
