Roohi's POV

The wedding festivities at Gauravi’s house had been nothing short of a whirlwind, and I loved every moment of it. But what stood out most wasn’t the colorful chaos—it was Vihan’s constant, overbearing presence. One moment, he’d hover near me, fussing over the tiniest things, and the next, he’d be sulking, glaring at any guy who dared come within five feet of me.

And honestly? I was having the time of my life watching him squirm.

As the wedding drew closer, Vihan stayed by my side. He insisted on driving me to the market and even picked out clothes and jewelry for me, much to Gauravi's annoyance.

“You’re really overdoing it,” I teased as we left the store.

“Better safe than sorry,” he replied with a grin.

Why can't he accept that he has feelings for me?

The Haldi ceremony was vibrant, filled with laughter and teasing. Gauravi, glowing in her yellow outfit, sat gracefully as turmeric was applied to her cheeks. She kept sneaking shy glances at Shlok, who had somehow managed

Roohi's POV The wedding day finally arrived, and the excitement in the air was infectious. The house buzzed with activity, a kaleidoscope of colors, laughter, and chaos as everyone prepared for the big event. I stood before the mirror in my room, my heart pounding as I added the final touches to my look. The lehanga I had selected for the wedding was very pretty with the help of Mahi and Myra Bhabhi. I loved the moment I saw it when Myra Bhabhi showed it to me. It was in shades of midnight blue and silver, a perfect blend of elegance and opulence. Tiny sequins and beads were scattered throughout, giving it the appearance of a starlit night. I was feeling very good. The blouse was delicately embroidered with silver thread and featured a sweetheart neckline, subtly adorned with pearl and crystal detailing. The sleeves were sheer, made of a soft net, wit

Roohi's POVThe shimmering lights of the Shah mansion were a dazzling backdrop to (Sangeet) one of the pre-wedding ceremonies of my friend, Mihir Shah. He looked undeniably handsome, dressed as a groom, his face radiating happiness as he prepared to marry the love of his life, Gaurvi. The air was thick with excitement, laughter, and the delicate scent of roses. The rhythmic beats of traditional drums filled the night, creating an atmosphere of pure joy.But my mind was far from the celebrations. As I stood there, my eyes drifted away from the dancing guests and vibrant colors, seeking out the one person I couldn’t help but look for... Vihan Singh Rathore. The man who had unknowingly held my heart captive for years. There he was, as magnetic as ever, leaning casually against the bar, his tuxedo tailored to perfection. His hair was tousled in that maddening way, like he’d just run his hand through it—a gesture that, despite myself, made my heart race every time.He flashed that danger

Roohi's POV Years of waiting, of hoping, of trying to move on but failing miserably each time I saw that stupid smile of his. All those years and nothing had changed.I sighed, taking a sip of my drink, trying to shake off the overwhelming feeling of disappointment. Why couldn’t I just let him go? Why couldn’t I be like Mihir and Gaurvi, finding love and happiness with someone who actually wanted me back?I was lost in the man and just then I heard another voice. “I saw you looking at him again.” I forced a smile. “I’m fine. Just... lost in thought, I guess.”Mihir raised an eyebrow, clearly not convinced. “Roohi, come on. We both know you’re not fine. You’ve been hung up on Vihan for as long as I can remember, and he still doesn’t see it. Don’t you think it’s time to do something about it? Tell him how you feel, or let him go.”I bit my lip, my chest tightening. “I’ve thought about it. A hundred times. But what if it ruins everything? What if he doesn’t feel the same way?”“And wha

Roohi's POV“So, what are you doing out here all by yourself?” he asked, his tone suddenly more serious.“Just needed a break from all the excitement, I am not as a party person as you are. It's so calm here.” I replied, keeping my gaze fixed on the twinkling lights above us.Vihan was silent for a moment, and when I finally looked at him, his expression was softer than I’d expected. Almost... thoughtful.“I missed my friends; I know Mihir is busy; Gauravi is not here, so I came looking for you,” he said quietly, his voice barely above a whisper. My heart skipped a beat, and for a brief, crazy moment, I wondered if this was it—the moment I’d been waiting for. But before I could say anything, Vihan’s phone buzzed, breaking the spell. He glanced at it and shook his head. “I should probably take this.”And just like that, the moment was gone.I watched as he stood up, flashing me an apologetic smile. “I’ll catch up with you later, okay?”I nodded, biting back the disappointment that thre

Vihan's POVNext day. MorningI was lost in a tantalizingly naughty dream, enjoying every second of it, when a sharp sound startled me awake. My phone was ringing, but as soon as I picked up the call, nobody replied from the other side. Opening an eye, I looked at the number; it was Mihir. What's wrong with him? The very next moment, my eyes blinked open, and the sight of the clock made my heart drop—11 AM!“Damn it!” I muttered, throwing the covers off. Two of my closest friends were getting married today, and since ceremonies were going on, I had to be there. I was already late. Mihir was probably fuming by now.Why didn't Roohi give me a wake-up call? I was thinking of packing my outfit for the wedding as I was sure I would not get any time to come back home and change my outfit. So I must pack it as well. As I rushed through my morning routine, one thought kept nagging at me—why hadn’t Roohi woken me up? She was always the one to ensure I didn’t screw up important days.Just

Vihan's POV But they both have been very close to each other. Almost a few years ago I had even become a bit jealous to see their friendship. They were always talking to each other all the time making Gaurvi and me feel left out. But they both were a bit different from Gaurvi and I. Gauravi and I were very outgoing, extroverts, fun loving, they both were more calm, level headed, a bit introvert. So maybe they were more comfortable with each other, but I was still hurt a bit. I shook my head and turned him to look at me. "But she didn't tell me..." I asked. " I guess she didn’t think you’d care because you were too busy with the pretty girls of the city..." He shrugged and said." Why is she not picking up the call?" I asked, getting hyper. "I guess she is with that guy..." He was saying but I was surprised to hear that. " What? She is with a guy? That's something new. I don't believe it. " I smiled confidently, but when the expression on Mihir's face didn't change, I felt that he

Pair up!” Gauravi clapped her hands, beaming with excitement.Kabir immediately took my hand. “Let’s go, partner!”Vihan’s jaw clenched. “Actually, I think Roohi should dance with me. Kabir can pair up with Sri?” he pulled my hand out of Kabir's. “Since when do you care about dancing?” Gauravi teased.“Since it is your wedding, I think, I should be dancing,” he said, locking eyes with me for a second too long before looking away. Gauravi burst out laughing. “Vihan, just admit it—you can’t stand Roohi dancing with anyone but you.”I expected Vihan to deny it, but instead, he grinned. “Maybe I just want to save everyone from her stepping on their toes.”“Oh, you’re dead!” I charged at him, laughing as he dodged away laughing. Kabir called after me, “Roohi, your partner is waiting!”I turned back, only to see Vihan standing right in front of me, blocking my way. “You’re dancing

Vihan had yet to join us, so I gave him a call to wake him up.When he finally arrived, he looked very tired as if he didn't sleep for the whole night. I was feeling bad for him, but could not disobey my brother as he was my only hope to get my Vihan in my life. " Hey, Good morning!" "Good morning!" he said with a smile. Rahul uncle and Rohit uncle were busy delegating tasks to everyone and the brunch was served and aunty told everyone to have brunch first. We were still having it when my phone buzzed with a message from an unknown number.Shit!! “You are looking beautiful today. The dress suits you perfectly.”My stomach dropped. Something was definitely up.Across the room, Siddh was watching me, a mischievous grin tugging at his lips. That was weird. I had never seen him smile like that. Siddh wasn’t usually this playful around me. In fact, that smile looked completely out of character. What's wrong with him? It seemed Vihan and Siddh had swapped personalities. I raised a questioning eyebrow at him, signaling with my hands, What’s with that grin? He simply shook his head and subtly glanced at Vihan.Curious, I followed his gaze. Vihan’s expression had hardened. His eyes darkened every time Siddh or Kabir so much as looked my way. His knuckles whitened around his glass, and he looked like he was ready to murder someone.Oh.Interesting.“Roohi!” Kabir called, waving me over. “Come here. We need your opinion.”I stood, making sure to toss my hair over my shoulder as

Roohi’s POV An hour ago...The night buzzed with excitement. The elders had long since gone to bed, leaving the youngsters to claim the living room for a long wild, sleepless night. Mattresses were laid out, clean sheets and blankets spread, pillows tossed around haphazardly, and snacks were piled in every corner. There was an air of mischief, anticipation, and unrestrained joy—a night of endless possibilities.Vihan sat on the couch, arms crossed, watching the chaos unfold with a distant expression. His brows were slightly furrowed, and his gaze lingered longer than necessary on me before darting away.Oh God! What’s with him tonight? Ever since that admirer started sending me anonymous messages, Vihan had become extra cautious—bordering on possessive. Not that he would ever admit it, of course.I rolled my eyes, pretended to ignore him, and settled between Tami and Sri. Gauravi, as expected, was glued to her phone, probably talking to Shlok, she was glowing.I turned to see Tami
