Vihan's POV

The Night at Jindal Mansion

Gauravi’s cousins had taken over the living room, transforming it into a cozy party zone with mattresses spread out, clean sheets tucked in, blankets tossed around, and pillows piled in every corner. Snacks were everywhere—chips, cookies, cold drinks—all ready for a long, sleepless night.

The night buzzed with excitement, the air charged with the kind of energy that only comes from wedding celebrations.

Everyone was enjoying it except for me as I was annoyed as hell because of those two guys, Siddh and Kabir. Thank god that Parshav had not come yet.

I glanced around, taking in the scene. Gauravi’s wedding was just a few days away, and tonight was the perfect chance for all of us to let loose. But I could not relax... The stalker was roaming around. I had a feeling that he was someone I know well... Has to be someone we know.

But who?

Could that stalker be Kabir? He must have seen Roohi at Mihir's wedding as well.

Oh my God!!

Roohi’s POV An hour ago...The night buzzed with excitement. The elders had long since gone to bed, leaving the youngsters to claim the living room for a long wild, sleepless night. Mattresses were laid out, clean sheets and blankets spread, pillows tossed around haphazardly, and snacks were piled in every corner. There was an air of mischief, anticipation, and unrestrained joy—a night of endless possibilities.Vihan sat on the couch, arms crossed, watching the chaos unfold with a distant expression. His brows were slightly furrowed, and his gaze lingered longer than necessary on me before darting away.Oh God! What’s with him tonight? Ever since that admirer started sending me anonymous messages, Vihan had become extra cautious—bordering on possessive. Not that he would ever admit it, of course.I rolled my eyes, pretended to ignore him, and settled between Tami and Sri. Gauravi, as expected, was glued to her phone, probably talking to Shlok, she was glowing.I turned to see Tami

Roohi's POV After about 15 minutes, I noticed Siddh and Kabir whispering and exchanging amused glances, their eyes darting between Vihan and me. Something was definitely up.Across the room, Siddh was watching me, a mischievous grin tugging at his lips. That was weird. I had never seen him smile like that. Siddh wasn’t usually this playful around me. In fact, that smile looked completely out of character. What's wrong with him? It seemed Vihan and Siddh had swapped personalities. I raised a questioning eyebrow at him, signaling with my hands, What’s with that grin? He simply shook his head and subtly glanced at Vihan.Curious, I followed his gaze. Vihan’s expression had hardened. His eyes darkened every time Siddh or Kabir so much as looked my way. His knuckles whitened around his glass, and he looked like he was ready to murder someone.Oh.Interesting.“Roohi!” Kabir called, waving me over. “Come here. We need your opinion.”I stood, making sure to toss my hair over my shoulder as

Roohi's POV The next morning, the house was buzzing with activity. Everyone was busy with wedding preparations, and I was in the living room with Gauravi, Kabir, and Siddh, finalizing the group performances. Vihan had yet to join us, so I gave him a call to wake him up.When he finally arrived, he looked very tired as if he didn't sleep for the whole night. I was feeling bad for him, but could not disobey my brother as he was my only hope to get my Vihan in my life. " Hey, Good morning!" "Good morning!" he said with a smile. Gautam uncle and Siddharth uncle were busy delegating tasks to everyone and the brunch was served and aunty told everyone to have brunch first. We were still having it when my phone buzzed with a message from an unknown number.Shit!! “You are looking beautiful today. The dress suits you perfectly.”My stomach dropped. I glanced around nervously, but Vihan noticed my unease.“What’s wrong?” he asked.“Nothing,” I lied, locking my phone.“Roohi,” he said, his

Roohi's POVAfter dinner, Gauravi dragged everyone for another round of dance practice.“Alright, couples! Pair up!” Gauravi clapped her hands, beaming with excitement.Kabir immediately took my hand. “Let’s go, partner!”Vihan’s jaw clenched. “Actually, I think Roohi should dance with me. Kabir can pair up with Sri?” he pulled my hand out of Kabir's. “Since when do you care about dancing?” Gauravi teased.“Since it is your wedding, I think, I should be dancing,” he said, locking eyes with me for a second too long before looking away. Gauravi burst out laughing. “Vihan, just admit it—you can’t stand Roohi dancing with anyone but you.”I expected Vihan to deny it, but instead, he grinned. “Maybe I just want to save everyone from her stepping on their toes.”“Oh, you’re dead!” I charged at him, laughing as he dodged away laughing. Kabir called after me, “Roohi, your partner is waiting!”I turned back, only to see Vihan standing right in front of me, blocking my way. “You’re dancing

Roohi's POV The wedding festivities at Gauravi’s house had been nothing short of a whirlwind, and I loved every moment of it. But what stood out most wasn’t the colorful chaos—it was Vihan’s constant, overbearing presence. One moment, he’d hover near me, fussing over the tiniest things, and the next, he’d be sulking, glaring at any guy who dared come within five feet of me.And honestly? I was having the time of my life watching him squirm. As the wedding drew closer, Vihan stayed by my side. He insisted on driving me to the market and even picked out clothes and jewelry for me, much to Gauravi's annoyance.“You’re really overdoing it,” I teased as we left the store.“Better safe than sorry,” he replied with a grin. Why can't he accept that he has feelings for me? The Haldi ceremony was vibrant, filled with laughter and teasing. Gauravi, glowing in her yellow outfit, sat gracefully as turmeric was applied to her cheeks. She kept sneaking shy glances at Shlok, who had somehow managed

Roohi's POV The wedding day finally arrived, and the excitement in the air was infectious. The house buzzed with activity, a kaleidoscope of colors, laughter, and chaos as everyone prepared for the big event. I stood before the mirror in my room, my heart pounding as I added the final touches to my look. The lehanga I had selected for the wedding was very pretty with the help of Mahi and Myra Bhabhi. I loved the moment I saw it when Myra Bhabhi showed it to me. It was in shades of midnight blue and silver, a perfect blend of elegance and opulence. The skirt, made of flowing silk, shimmered under the lights with intricate silver zari embroidery depicting floral and vine patterns. Tiny sequins and beads were scattered throughout, giving it the appearance of a starlit night. I was feeling very good. The blouse was delicately embroidered with silver thread and featured a sweetheart neckline, subtly adorned with pearl and crystal detailing. The sleeves were sheer, made of a soft net, wit

Vihan's POV All the ceremonies and rituals were completed, and Gauravi and Shlok finally tied the knot. Thank God! One less thing to worry about. At least that Kabir guy would head back to his home. But Siddh... Siddh was still around at the hospital, which meant I couldn’t completely relax. And, to my immense relief, Parshav didn’t show up for the wedding. Some emergency at the hospital in Bikaner kept him away. Small mercies. Thank you, God.********After the vidaayi, I got home, exhausted but restless. Sleep refused to come, my thoughts spiraling back to Roohi. She’s been on my mind more than usual lately. I couldn’t pinpoint when things started to shift, but I couldn’t stop thinking about her. Maybe I never had.Looking back, Roohi was always there, woven into the fabric of my life. Vihan's POV Sleep seemed like a distant dream tonight. The memories kept flooding back to me, unbidden and relentless, as I lay in bed, staring at the ceiling. She’s always been there—steady, unchanging like the sun rising every morning without fail. But lately, something feels off.Roohi had always been my Roohi—the one person who understood me without words. Losing that connection felt like losing a piece of myself. Then I went to a memory lane which brought a smile to my face. There was that rainstorm. It was just the two of us, running and laughing like kids again. But when I looked at her, soaked and smiling, something shifted. For a fleeting moment, I saw her, not as my best friend but as... A very beautiful girl, I don't know where a thought came from about me wanting to kiss her in the rain all of a sudden. For a split second, I thought what if__? But I brushed it aside. Roohi was my best friend; I couldn't mess that up by making her feel awkward. The thought scared me.When

"If he even breathes in Roohi’s direction again—"Vihan stood up abruptly, his chair scraping against the floor. His expression was unreadable, his shoulders stiff, his entire body practically vibrating with a controlled fury. He walked over to Roohi, kneeling in front of her, cupping her face gently, as if afraid she would break."He’ll never touch you again," he swore, his voice thick with emotion. "I will make sure of it."Roohi looked at him, her teary eyes searching his, finding the raw intensity there. The protectiveness. The unspoken emotions that neither of them could voice right now.For the first time since she had woken up, she felt truly safe."Enough,"

Third person's POVThe atmosphere in the room was thick with tension and suffocating silence, each heartbeat echoing the rage and fear coursing through the family. Roohi lay on the couch, pale and visibly shaken. Every second felt like an eternity as everyone stood around her, restless and furious. Her mother, Sia, sat beside her, holding her hand tightly, whispering prayers under her breath. Priya and Sandhya were also waiting anxiously for her to be fine. Ron and Raj stood nearby, their jaws clenched, fists curled into tight balls as rage simmered inside them. Vihan, his usually confident and playful demeanor replaced by pure, undiluted fear, crouched close, his eyes fixed on Roohi's face. The mere thought of what had happened to Roohi made their blood boil. Ron, Raj, and Vihan looked ready to tear someone apart. And then, finally, a faint movement. When her eyelids fluttered open, the entire room collectively held its breath.
