Eric's POV

I just knew it.

I knew my revelation of my wife to the whole world would attract all forms of attention, including the unsolicited and negative ones.

Joanne Pries, the irresistible actress, was a woman I had run into five years ago at a high-end club in the exclusive part of the city five years ago.

I was celebrating my company's huge milestone of securing a huge deal, but I was not in any way happy.
