Chapter 4Lance and I practically raced to get to my parents’ house. Chapter 5My eyes opened on their own at 4:45 a.m. as they did every morning for the past six years. I rolled out of bed, went to the bathroom, did my business, brushed my teeth and hair and was out on the porch getting ready to stretch for a morning run.
