Chapter 71

Micky spends the day on the run. He didn't want Alex to ask him things he couldn't answer. He wanted his parents to return, because of the secret he had discovered from his mother, and that he wanted her to tell everyone. The secret wasn't his and he couldn't betray his mother, especially since he had discovered it when he was a pup, by accident.

Now to add to the problem, there was another secret linked to his father. A secret that he had never felt necessary to reveal, but that had now fallen on him like a bomb.

So, Micky, instead of going to rest, like Alex and Kat did, goes to the gym to vent some of his frustration.

He uses some of the machines, but opts for the boxing bag.

The beta enters the gym to exercise and sees Micky throwing blow after blow, seriously threatening the integrity of the bag, and approaches.

- Alpha Michael? Some problems?

He wakes up from the inner world where he found himself and grabs the bag tiredly. Turning to face Delilah, he says:

- Everything is fine.
