Chapter 2

RAGE

I woke up in a familiar place. My body is aching so bad. I can't even move my legs and arms. 

What happened to me? Where am I? The last time I remembered was when Leandro summoned me. After that, darkness envelops me. 

I can't remember anything after that. I move my head to see the surroundings. 

This is my first time to see such a place. It's so peaceful, beautiful and it's like I'm in another dimension. Is this place even real? I never knew that this place existed in real life. 

Since I was young, I was locked up in an orphanage. And we aren't allowed to go out. I always wished that someone would adopt me. And that is my most regret in life. I thought I already saw rainbows and butterflies when Odin adopted me. 

But I was mistaken. The day he adopted me is the day my nightmare starts. I was just six years old back then when he brought me to The Ora. 

This is a secret criminal organization build-up of Hybrids and extraordinary beings with one mission: to destroy the world. 

Odin just disguises himself as an ideal loving father, but in reality, he's an identified species. Heck, I even don't know if he's a werewolf or a vampire. For me, he's a monster. He is so powerful. His powers can be comparable to God. 

He gave me to Leandro, a brilliant genius, and they started experimenting with my body. I don't know what they're doing in my body. 

And every single day, I begged them to stop. But every time I show weakness, they beat me up to death. 

I can even remember Odin's favorite motto for me. "If you are weak, then you have no right to live in this world," 

That's Odin's favorite line. 

But... where am I? 

It's impossible that Odin will let me out of their sight. They can't let me gone even just for an hour. For them, I'm a tool or a machine that they can use and experiment with every time they want. Yes, they are that cruel. And I loathe them to the core! 

I clenched my fist and looked around. What kind of place is this? I heard voices coming in my direction.

Shit! I have to get out of here! 

They're going to kill me! As much as I want to move and hide, but my body feels so numb. 

"Here he is! I told you, I saw a young man here. I'm telling the truth!" I saw three people coming towards me.

They're wearing royal robes, so I assumed that these people have a high rank in this place. I prepared myself for their attack.

I don't want to die! I will never let them touch me!

"Oh wow, you are right. I never saw an outsider for a long time,"

"He does have a handsome face despite his ferocious look," the other one commented. 

They walked towards me. I saw them gasp when they saw my real situation. Why the hell I can't move? I feel so numb!

"He is still a young man. I think around twenty plus. And yes, he is so good-looking, huh?" 

I can't understand what they're talking about. What matters to me now is my safety.

I gritted my teeth. "Don't you dare come near me! I will kill you all, don't make me do it!" I lashed out. 

They are obviously taken aback. "He seems dangerous. Shall we kill this young man?"

I smell danger. 

I have to think quickly about how to get out of this mess. But my mind is not cooperating. I'm having a hard time thinking. I pushed myself to release my power. But when I was about to do that, I couldn't even focus and release an aura. 

The hell did Leandro do to me? I felt so powerless! 

Damn, Leandro! 

"I told you, I'm not going to show some mercy even if you beg, so if I were you, retreat now or else, you all would die," I warned them in a dangerous tone. 

I expect to see fear in their eyes, just like what I always see from others. But they are just emotionless. They even sneered. 

I, being cocky, felt humiliated. "Are you making fun of me? I'm not joking, you bastard!" 

"Hey, young man! Watch your mouth! You are here in our territory!"

I hissed. "I don't fucking care. I don't even know what this place is! Just make sure that I can't get out of here, or else you all be dead here," 

"I think he's one of our enemies. Beware!" The other man warned the two. 

"We aren't sure. We can't put the authority what to do with this young man on our hands," 

"So... what's the plan?" 

"We have to held him captive and let the Alpha King decide," 

Why... I see no fear in their eyes?

Impossible! 

I feel so irritated. "And who said I will let you captive me? I'll die first before you all can do that!" I said while gritting my teeth. 

"If I were you, young man, I would keep my mouth shut. You have a sharp tongue, do you?" 

I tried my best to move and attacked them, but before I could do that, the three of them were already holding me. 

"No! I warned you not to touch me!" I screamed at the top of my lungs. 

"I guess we can't calm him down. You know what to do," Their eyes are talking without saying a word. 

And I hate it!

"Don't worry. We are not going to harm you..." 

Not harm me? Huh! I doubt that. I never heard such comforting words ever in my life. 

"D-Don't touch me..." I'm catching my breath. I saw a tool similar to Leandro's tool. My pupils dilated. 

No... No... I can't let them experiment with me too! 

I was about to yell, but one of the men injected something into my arm. And everything went black to me...

After minutes, we’ve arrived in a place that is full of equipment. I shivered, thought that it was like Leandro’s laboratory. But the Alpha King calmed me down.

"You don’t have to worry. Your wounds will be treated here. You don’t have to worry. No one’s gonna hurt you here,”

Wounds?

I furrowed my eyebrows. Do I have wounds? I unconsciously looked at my body, and my jaw almost dropped when I saw bruises and wounds all over my body! 

The Alpha King smiled at me. “You’re not aware of your wounds, right? Don’t worry. They will give you the best medicine here. Take a rest,” 

I was about to say something, but one personnel injected something into my arm. And everything went black to me…
