“What is this…” Logan asked angrily, “Emily, what do you mean by this?”

Emily smiled, holding a remote in her hand. “Mr. Morgan, don’t you recognize it? This is the design you submitted when you won the architecture award 27 years ago.”

“Of course, I remember,” Logan replied in a low voice. “Did you bring me here just to show me my own design? Emily, stop this nonsense. We’re family. If you have something to say, we can discuss it privately. Don’t make a scene in front of others.”

Emily’s smile widened. “Others? Are you talking about Alex?”

Alex sat there like a king, and Logan knew better than to provoke him. He quickly smiled and said, “Of course not. Alex and I are practically family now.”

“Good,” Emily said. “Your student Bobby isn’t related to you by blood, is he?”

Her expression suddenly turned cold. “Ken, Bobby has been carrying Mr. Morgan’s bags for a while now. Take him out for a meal to show our appreciation.”

“Sure thing,” Ken said, his hands in his pockets as he approached
