In the conference room, only Logan and Emily were left facing off.

Alex, worried about Emily, stayed close to her, ready to protect her from any sudden moves Logan might make.

"Emily," Logan pleaded, making a last-ditch effort, "Tell me, what do you want me to do to make you forgive me?"
