Vincent's fear

Author's POV

Vincent and some of the men who had followed him made their way to the dungeon where Lydia had asked for Helen to be kept. He kept receiving information from Jack as he moved. Jack was about to hack into the building system, therefore giving him room to see who and how many people were in the building.

“There are five men there. Not much work. It's what only you can take out, but…” he paused.

“We never know, so be careful,” he said to Vincent, who nodded before instructing the people on what to do. With his hands, he gestured for them to move to both sides of the building and enter from both sides.

He didn't meet to fight anyone. While his men shot the three men outside the building dead, Vincent walked into the building.

The sound of one of the men's guns had alerted the other two inside the building, so one of them pointed a gun at Helen's head.
