POV: AARON
I took the chain from Kemilly’s hands, dragging the prisoners effortlessly while glancing over my shoulder at the wolves who dared to protest.
“SILENCE!” I roared, making the ground tremble, silencing them instantly. “These wolves will be evaluated. If they are found guilty of treason, I will judge and punish them personally.”
“But, Lycan King, we didn’t do any.” The prisoner started to speak, but immediately fell silent when my fierce eyes locked onto him.
“Please, Alpha, you can’t possibly believe my son is a traitor… This she-wolf disappeared for days and suddenly shows up with these accusations!” the elder pleaded, glaring at Kemilly, who growled threateningly.
“Kemilly left under my command. She has served me for years and was once even considered for Luna. Show some respect, elder.” I growled,
POV: CALLIEI explored the cave we were in, sniffing around to make sure there was no danger. I followed the sound of water, dipping my hand in and feeling its comfortable, inviting temperature.“Yulli?” I called, but the witch seemed unconscious, having used the last of her strength to partially heal the poison that the Dark God had spread through my body.I slid out of my clothes, stepping into the water, feeling its gentle caress against my skin. I scrubbed my body, desperate to rid myself of the scent of Dante and Nocturnus. The darkness that clung to them was repulsive. I needed to figure out what to do next—the Supreme Alpha was the father of my child, the same man from my dreams, seemingly my destined mate. But why did I want to run from him? Why did I feel the need to escape? Aaron wasn’t like the man in my dreams. Had I simply idealized him?“So many ques
POV: AARONBy late afternoon, the traitors stood in the center of the town square, drawing the attention of the townspeople who, in their human forms, had gathered in a circle to watch. I remained in front of the water fountain while the prisoners were tied to wooden stakes driven into the ground.“My wolves,” I began, my voice resonating with firm authority, “the prisoners before you have been judged. Undeniable evidence of their treason has been presented. These wolves have been found guilty of their actions—spreading the marks of the Dark God’s sect throughout Convergence, which led to the draining of the local residents’ life force.”“This isn’t fair!” the elder woman cried out, her voice thick with emotion. “That city doesn’t belong to any pack! Who cares what happens to the people there? Alpha King, you cannot punish my son for vandalizing a place that&rsquo
POV: CALLIEA chilling draft swept through the place, making me shiver as I felt Yulli’s magic manifest.“I hope this helps. It’s a simple outfit, created by magic,” she said as she collapsed beside me, clutching my legs. “Damn it, this demon is draining my life force.”“The hybrid conceived from our union belongs to me!” Nocturnus bellowed, and strange sounds began echoing through the cave, as if eerie creatures were drawing closer. “Come to me, my queen...”“I already told you, I’m not your queen!” I snarled, furious. “I’m not going anywhere.”“You are mine!” the deity shrieked in a high-pitched sound like a whistle, forcing me to cover my ears as they ached. My fists burned as if something had ignited within them.“The marks...” Yulli struggled to speak, shouting louder than the unbearable noise.Whe
POV: AARON“Start talking, wolf!” I stalked toward her, predatory, sensing the scent of her fear spreading through the room. However, there were other hints mixed within it.“What do you need me to say, Lycan King?” she asked, her voice trembling. “What do you think I did this time?”“Don’t play dumb, little wolf... I hate games. Why did Nocturnus say you belong to him?” I growled, watching her smile. “Do you think this is funny?”I snarled fiercely, making the ground and walls tremble.“No, of course not, Alpha.” She sighed. “But it seems like you’re jealous.”“Jealous? Because a deity wants you for himself? You’re truly naive, wolf.” I roared, stepping even closer. But Callie didn’t back away—she reacted differently. Her eyes, even behind the veil, seemed more alive, no longer clouded by darkness.
POV: CALLIEI was running with Yulli when I heard his voice:“Meet me in your sanctuary, little wolf.”I stopped, turning my body back, feeling the cool night breeze, as if my mate’s call was pulling me toward him. I shifted into my wolf form, lying down on what felt like sand.“What are you doing?” Yulli asked, crouching beside me and stroking my fur. “Are you feeling tired?”“A little, but I can feel him calling me,” I whispered, confused. “I can’t explain it, but my male is calling for me.”“Aaron?” she asked, puzzled. “Huh, who would have thought your bond would be this strong?”I nodded, resting my head on my paws.“Yulli, you...” I murmured, embarrassed.“I don’t mind. It seems like we’re safe for now, and the sky is beautiful tonight—it deserv
POV: AARONSliding my hands along her thighs, scratching lightly, I reached the inside, massaging gently as I moved toward her most intimate spot. Callie writhed between moans, and when I bit her inner thigh, leaving my mark, she protested, arching her back and pushing her breasts up even more. Her beauty was simply breathtaking.I smirked between her legs, licking the skin of her inner thigh, following the delicious path to her slightly swollen, throbbing core that begged for release.“You are exquisite...” I growled, aroused, running my tongue along her slit, making her tremble. Teasing her clitoral area, I sucked and kissed it before hunger took over, and I plunged my tongue deep inside her, feeling her warm walls clench around me at the contact.“Give me everything, Callie...”I growled hoarsely, biting her thighs, sucking her sensitive spot, an
POV: CALLIEHe kept his eyes locked onto mine. I tried to pull away, but he didn’t let me. I could see that he didn’t know what to say—so instead, he kissed me with raw intensity.“Alpha!” I broke the moment, keeping my eyes closed with our lips still touching. “I need to wake up, please.”“I’ll be here when you return,” he whispered, pressing a series of soft kisses on my reddened, swollen lips. “I’ll get rid of the imposter and find you.”I shook my head.“Do what needs to be done in your pack. Soon, Lycan King, I will return to your arms… But…” I shifted nervously. “There’s something you need to know.”I started to speak, but suddenly, I looked back, every hair on my body standing on end. A chilling wave of imminent danger rippled through me.
POV: ESMERALDASomething was wrong. Had his goddess warned him about me?I clenched my fist. If that was even a possibility, then I was in danger. I knew the Alpha was notorious for his cold and ruthless tortures.“Whether Dante likes it or not, he’ll have to accept that the plan failed.” I muttered to myself. “Damn it, I can’t go back to him—he’ll use me as a sacrifice for Nocturnus, even though I’m his mate.”I paced back and forth, my mind racing, when I suddenly heard the Lycan King’s howl in the distance. He was getting closer—there was no doubt about it. He had discovered my deception.Shifting into my wolf form, I jumped through the broken window the Alpha had shattered earlier. I landed poorly, but I didn’t stop. I took off, slipping out of the city unnoticed, vanishing into the wilderness. My eyes darted around as
POV: CALLIE“Are you afraid of him?” Yulli pulled me out of my trance, snapping her fingers to get my attention.“Are you?” I countered, hesitant.“Smart girl!” the witch laughed. “I’m afraid he might lose control of his powers, but overall, Aaron is a good friend. Now it’s your turn.”“I’m afraid of being hurt more than I already have been. I’m not talking about physical pain—those scars heal.” I murmured, gently stroking my belly, uncomfortable with how still Rigan was. “He’s so quiet.”“He’s a clever pup. He knows you need rest,” Yulli said, tapping the tip of my nose, sinking into the right side of the bed. Her hands settled over mine, warming them with her magic. “Just to be sure.”“Thank you.” I gave a soft smile, grate
POV: AARONCallie was clearly unsettled by the doctor’s recommendations. I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t slightly amused by the situation, but I knew the weight of it would fall on me. Resisting the pull of a bond that strong was an intense challenge, but I had already hurt her once—and I wouldn’t break my promise not to hurt her again.“When will she be discharged?” I asked the doctor, who kept glancing at the witch sometimes with admiration.“If everything continues to go well, by the end of the day,” he explained, straightening his posture.“That soon?” Callie asked, worried, as she caressed her belly. “I almost lost my baby. Wouldn’t it be safer to stay under observation a little longer? Of course, if the Lycan King allows it.”“Little wolf, all of my resources are yours,” I said, keeping my eye
POV: CALLIE“It’s okay. This is nothing compared to what I’ve been through these past few years,” I said softly. The Lycan seemed irritated by the comment; his scent shifted, becoming more tense.“Alpha, are you alright?”“Yes!” he answered quickly. When the loud sound of my baby’s heartbeat filled the room through the ultrasound, it was a deeply emotional and unique experience. The rhythm was fast and steady, like the gallop of a horse—constant and strong. I could almost see tiny feet running joyfully across an open field—at least, that’s what I hoped to witness when my little king Rigan was born.I noticed the Alpha’s scent shift in subtle waves. There was clear conflict in it, but something more… was he moved? My wolf growled faintly in the back of my mind, as if that moment had stirred her. The Lycan’s wolf responded instantly; Aaron’s eyes now seemed to rest on my skin, burning wherever they landed.“What a beautiful sound,” Aaron murmured. “I don’t think I’ve ever heard a baby’s
POV: CALLIEI woke up in my darkness with my body aching even more than before. The sterile hospital smell of alcohol and medication churned my stomach, while my head throbbed painfully. What had happened? My mind was flooded with memories. I had been with the Alpha in my dreams—that fear, all that blood, my wolf—but I couldn’t find her anywhere. The pain dragged me back into consciousness, and the guttural sound told me we were losing my baby.“Rigan!” I cried out, placing my hand over my belly, unable to lift my body properly.A hand pressed down on my shoulders, keeping me in place. I sniffed toward the source, instantly recognizing the unmistakable woody scent that now saturated the room—his presence expanding protectively around me.“Don’t try to sit up. You just had surgery, little wolf,” Aaron whispered, adjusting me gently. “You scared the hell out of me. Not many wolves can do that to me.”“What happened?” I kept my hands firmly over my stomach, terrified that if I let go, my
POV: AARONI woke up with my eyes wide, fierce, devouring the sterile white room. I ripped the IV out with a sharp tug, feeling a stinging discomfort in my arm.The nurse burst through the door, her eyes widening in horror when she saw me, rushing into the room.“Lycan King, please! You need to rest—you’re still severely injured,” she said, alarmed, as she prepared to treat the puncture site. But when she noticed it had already healed, her face twisted in confusion and shock.“Where is Callie?” I growled threateningly, my imposing figure casting a shadow over the small, trembling nurse.“She… she’s in surgery,” the woman stammered nervously.“What happened? Why does she need surgery?” My eyes narrowed, an intense aura of pressure radiating from me.“Alpha, please control you
POV: DANTE“It was close… That damned bastard.” I leaned against the tree, my body trembling with pain as I punched it hard, my other hand pressing against my open stomach. Every touch felt like a blade slicing through me, my fingers nearly brushing against my own organs.“I will hunt them down, one by one, until the last drop of their blood is spilled. That blind she-wolf—I’ll turn her into a puppet of agony, rip her pup from her belly, and make her drown in her own misery. That arrogant Alpha—I’ll destroy him, devouring his flesh while his soul turns to dust. I will dive into the deepest pits of darkness to bring hell upon those who dared to defy me.”“Oh, really? And how exactly do you plan to do that when you’re already dead?”A feminine voice echoed between the trees, her laughter ringing like a twisted chant as her silhouette emerged fr
POV: AARONI hadn’t realized my human form was just as agile as my Lupine one; perhaps it was due to training in both forms. It took some time before we finally reached the city. Yulli motioned for me to go ahead while she struggled to catch her breath. As I entered the hospital, I let out a deep growl, drawing the attention of a doctor who appeared with a furrowed brow, his gaze shifting from the small unconscious wolf in my arms to the blood dripping onto the floor.“What happened?” He approached quickly. “Bring a stretcher here—now!”I gently laid her on the stretcher the nurses had rushed over, brushing her beautiful black hair away from her face. Even in unconsciousness, Callie’s brows were creased in pain.“I released too much power… I don’t know exactly what happened.” I sighed, defeated. “She’s…&rdquo
POV: CALLIEThe ground trembled under the slow, uneven steps of the Lycan King. He didn’t seem able to walk in a straight line toward me, as if he were staggering with each step. The metallic stench of rust thickened the air, making my stomach churn with nausea. I took a deep breath, fighting against the wave of sickness threatening to consume me.Yulli lay unconscious at my feet, her body radiating heat against my skin. The Alpha’s immense power had taken a heavy toll on us. A warm liquid trickled down my legs. When I touched the area, rubbing my fingers together, I felt the thickness of the fluid. Bringing it closer to my nose, I realized—it was blood. My inner wolf had been eerily silent since the battle in the deep sea; her once-rapid recovery now seemed impossible. Sharp pangs radiated from my womb, and my instincts screamed that something was terribly wrong.“Callie… Did I hurt
POV: AARONI woke up sniffing the air, sharpening my senses to assess how many wolves surrounded us. Unlike the previous attacks, there was one with a stronger scent, more intense—it seemed to be more powerful. I nudged Yulli, the witch, with my paw as she slept lazily, while Callie was already awake but remained still, waiting for me to assess the situation.“Yulli?” I growled, waking her.“What is it? Let me sleep a little longer…” She mumbled, but then I saw her tense as she sensed the dark magic. “Dante is here!”“Is he now?” I grinned between my fangs, sadistic. “Stay behind me.”“We can fight.” Callie protested, earning a deep growl from me.“I said stay behind me. Yulli, protect her if I have to step away!” I ordered, glancing over my broad, fur-covered shoulders.
