Pearl's POV
Something strange just happened, but it seemed no one else besides myself noticed. Everyone else appeared enchanted by the charms of the three brothers, their faces aglow with admiration.
I, too, had been captivated by their charms, but I still sensed that something was off. Mr. Daniel, our English teacher, had been acting strangely. He rushed into the classroom, his usual calm demeanor replaced by a look of urgency. His bright, inquisitive eyes scanned the room behind his signature round glasses.
As soon as the three brothers, Kyle, Nathan, and Eden, stepped into the classroom, Mr. Daniel's expression transformed into a deep frown. His strong jawline tensed, accentuating his sharp features.
I watched as Mr. Daniel whispered something into Eden's ear, his voice low and menacing. Eden's piercing blue eyes narrowed slightly, his chiseled features tense.
Then, without explanation, Mr. Daniel turned and left the classroom, leaving us all stunned.
The three brothers exchanged suspicious glances, their faces etched with a mixture of guilt and unease. It was a look that seemed to say they had been caught doing something they shouldn't have been doing.
Do the four of them have a history together? Who really are these three strange, handsome brothers? I couldn't help but wonder...
"My God, they're so handsome!" Nelly finally found her voice, her eyes shining with admiration.
I glanced at her, and it was obvious she, like the rest, hadn't noticed the strange exchange between Mr. Daniel and the brothers. There was no point asking her what she saw.
I focused my attention on the three brothers, who still stood in front of the classroom, whispering among themselves. Their faces were troubled, their eyes clouded with concern.
As they walked to their seats at the back of the classroom, our eyes met, Eden's and mine. But he didn't flash me a smile; instead, he looked away, his expression unreadable.
Eden, with his chiseled features and piercing blue eyes, seemed to be the most jovial of the three brothers. His bright, captivating smile could light up an entire room, and his sharp jawline accentuated his carefree demeanor.
Kyle, on the other hand, had a more reserved expression. His sapphire eyes, though warm and inviting, seemed to hold a hint of seriousness. His strong facial structure and sharp features made him look like a model, but his lips, though invitingly red, rarely curved into a smile. Nevertheless, his handsome features made him impossible to ignore.
Nathan, the most brooding of the three, had an angular face and emerald eyes that seemed to bore into those he looked at. His sharp jawline and prominent cheekbones gave him a striking appearance, but his expression remained stern, his lips pressed into a thin line. It was as if he hated being in this new school, missing the familiarity of his old life.
Eden's POV
I was shocked when Mr. Daniel whispered those ominous words into my ear. "You ain't welcome here. The three of you ain't welcome here. Your kind ain't welcome here." His hot breath sent shivers down my spine as his words hung in the air like a challenge.
Those words gave me the chills, and I could feel my heart racing in my chest. It was evident he knew who we were - Vampires!
I glanced at Kyle and Nathan, and both of them wore the same look of shock and concern as me. Our eyes, piercing blue, sapphire, and emerald, respectively, met in a silent understanding.
When Mr. Daniel stormed out of the classroom, his anger palpable, I and my brothers huddled together, whispering amongst ourselves.
"He knows what we are! This isn't good at all, I told you from the start, it was a mistake coming here," Nathan said, his emerald eyes blazing with intensity. His sharp jawline tensed, accentuating his angular face.
Kyle remained quiet, his sapphire eyes thoughtful as he processed the situation. His chiseled features seemed carved from marble, his expression serene.
"Yes, I think he knows what we are," I said, my piercing blue eyes scanning the classroom, ensuring we weren't being overheard.
"Then we have to kill him, before he tells anyone, before the word spreads and those TWO find us," Nathan said, his voice low and menacing.
"We are not killing anyone," I said firmly, my jaw set in determination.
The fluorescent lights above hummed, casting an eerie glow over the classroom.
Nathan's emerald eyes blazed with intensity as he insisted, "We have to! Don't you see he knows what we are? That's the only way out of this mess; he must die." His sharp jawline tensed, accentuating his angular face.
I shook my head, my piercing blue eyes locked onto Nathan's. "We can't go around killing everyone we meet. That will only lead Dracko and Gracko to us, the very people we are hiding from. They will surely find us and rip our hearts out, hanging our heads on a spike." My voice was laced with a hint of warning.
Nathan's expression faltered, his eyes widening slightly as he realized the truth in my words. We stood in front of the class, our whispers inaudible to our new classmates.
The fluorescent lights above hummed, casting an eerie glow over the classroom. The students' faces, a blur of curiosity and confusion, seemed to fade into the background as we focused on our conversation.
After a moment of silence, Kyle spoke up, his sapphire eyes thoughtful. "Before we reach the decision of whether to kill him or not, we must first know what he is and what exactly he knows about us." His chiseled features seemed carved from marble, his expression serene.
I nodded in agreement. "He definitely isn't a vampire or werewolf. I would have picked up his scent." My nose wrinkled slightly as I recalled the subtle aromas that wafted through the classroom.
Nathan's eyes narrowed. "Then what the hell is he? Some kind of vampire hunter? Like Drakco and Grecko?" His voice was laced with a hint of unease.
We stared at each other, our faces a picture of concern. The classroom seemed to shrink, the air thickening with tension.
Kyle's expression turned thoughtful. "Maybe. Or maybe he's a witch, or he could just be an ordinary, annoying human. We shall find out all in due time." His voice was calm, reassuring.
I nodded, and Nathan followed suit. The three of us stood there, our eyes locked in a silent understanding.
As I scanned the classroom, I suggested, "We should probably go and find somewhere to sit." The three of us - my brothers, Nathan and Kyle, and I - walked down the classroom, our eyes scanning the room for an empty seat. We finally spotted one at the back and made our way towards it.
As we walked, the human teenagers couldn't help but stare at us. Their eyes were drawn to our chiseled features, our piercing gazes, and our athletic builds. We were used to the attention, but I noticed one student in particular - Pearl. Her bright blue eyes met mine, and I saw a flicker of curiosity and suspicion. Her eyebrows were slightly furrowed, and her lips were pursed, as if she was trying to piece together a puzzle.
I quickly turned my face away from her direction, not wanting to draw any more attention to myself. We reached our seats and sat down, our movements fluid and synchronized. The teacher never returned to class, and we sat there in silence until the period was over. Another teacher walked into the class, and the next lesson began..
Hours later, during Noon Break
Pearl's POV
I watched as the bell rang, signaling the start of our break. The three brothers - Kyle, Eden, and Nathan - jumped up from their seats with an air of urgency, their faces tense with an unspoken concern. Kyle's piercing emerald eyes darted towards the door, while Eden's chiseled features seemed to harden, his jaw clenched in anticipation. Nathan's dark, brooding eyes appeared to bore into the floor, as if willing himself to remain calm.
They rushed outside the classroom, their movements swift and synchronized, like a well-rehearsed dance. I couldn't help but feel a shiver run down my spine as I watched them disappear into the crowded hallway.
Their behavior had been strange all morning, whispering amongst themselves during class, their voices hushed and secretive. And then there was the fact that Mr. Daniel, our teacher, had left the classroom as soon as they arrived, never to return. It all seemed so suspicious, and I found myself wondering what was really going on.
I stood up, my eyes fixed on the door, wanting to follow the brothers and uncover their secrets. But my best friend, Nelly, was too busy dragging me back with her silly questions.
"Pearl, hold on, let's go to the cafeteria together. Why the rush?" she asked, her bright brown eyes sparkling with amusement. "Plus, I need to visit the restroom. I think I need to take a shit."
I rolled my eyes, a smile spreading across my face. "Do you really need to tell me that?" I asked, trying to stifle a giggle.
Nelly grinned mischievously. "We're best friends, best friends don't hide anything from each other."
I chuckled, shaking my head. "Well, next time you can hide that information from me, I won't mind."
As Nelly continued to chat, I glanced at the door, my mind still fixed on the mysterious brothers and their secrets.:The three brothers had already vanished, leaving me with a burning curiosity. Where were they headed in such a hurry? I needed to know."Hurry up then, and let's get going to the restroom," I said with growing urgency, my eyes scanning the crowded hallway.Nelly, my best friend, was still struggling to put on her shoes. Her bright brown eyes sparkled with amusement as she said, "Hold on, let me wear my shoes properly. I really need to buy new sneakers; this one is becoming really tight on my foot. Will you follow me to get a new pair of sneakers after school hours?"I rolled my eyes, my patience wearing thin. "Will you hurry up and let's go?" I said, becoming more impatient by the second. I turned around, walking towards the door, my long, dark hair swishing behind me."I'm coming, I'm coming, hold on!" Nelly called out, still battling with her sneaker. Finally, she ma
