CHYNA
We took the ATV car and went to Saturn Cove. Soon, I found out why. Currently, a kite festival was taking place. Lots of participants were joining the festival. Different kinds of colorful giant kites were flying in the sky. And yes, it’s fun to watch those kites flying around. We made fun of the different tricks and exhibitions of those colorful things flying in the air.
And to add up with the excitement, surfers were all over too. I could see Ariadnie whose riding the waves, exceptionally great.
“Whoah! That’s my girl!” And Josh seems to have a day off, and he was cheering for Ariadnie.
“So, Ariadnie and Josh were finally together?” I curiously turned to Gian, who’s busy watching the kites.
“Nah! That’s impossible.” Gian answered. “That friend of mine was weak. He can’t even pursue Ariadnie.”
“Really, huh? Then, I think
CHYNAUpon arriving at the cluster building where we live, Gian gets off the ATV and marching inside the building. I was left confused. I mean, I don’t understand his mood swings. I walked inside the lobby and took one of the seats there.I was still busy catching up with myself. I know something was wrong with me. I should be dealing with Lenox and his woman. But I don’t feel like doing that. Did I fell out of love with Lenox? How come? He didn’t do anything to turn me off.“Hey, gorgeous!”Dominic sits beside me. He was with Jules as usual. And upon remembering what the two did, I suddenly hit them in their chest, one by one.“Hey! Hey! Is that the new trend in greeting a friend?” Jules complained.“Friend your ass! If you were my friends, then why did you serve me the wrong guy?” I hissed to both.“Served you the wrong guy?” They asked in unison, con
CHYNA“Aren’t you shameful to be chasing a man?”I glared back at Gian. I was at Orange Cup Café, having my breakfast, when this obnoxious guy came to bother me. Again. So, he was back in the same guy who intended to appear just to ruin my day.Hmph! How many personalities were living in his body? Just the last time we were together, he seems very mad that he brought me back to my place without asking if I wanted to leave the festival.“What do you care? And why are you here again? Stop being nosy, will you?” I irritatingly said.As for the record, he was mad at me. He should stay that way.“FYI, I have the right to be here as much as you do." Gian shrugged and tapped the space on the couch next to him. “Come here. I’ll join you. Let's gawk at my friend together so you won’t be the only fool here.”This guy was really g
CHYNA“You’re not good. I'll fix your wounds first.” Gian stubbornly stopped me from doing anything. “I might not fix your wounded heart, but let me help with your knees. And let me tell you, I would not let you do such stupid things just because you were hurting inside. Deal with me, from now on, Chyna.”I was too stunned to say a word. Did he think I was broken-hearted? Gosh! I don’t even felt the pain and jealousy.“I was fine. I was perfectly fine. I am not what you thought—” I tried to explain.“Hide it as long as you want. Soon, you'll find your words were getting real.”But it was all true, damn it! I wanted to yell at his face. But it seems he already made up his mind.Soon, the staff arrived with some medical stuff. Gian started to nurse my wound. The alcohol gives a smarting pain with my injuries, but it ebbed away when
CHYNA“Yes. Anything. So, please? Pretty please?”Hmm… that seems to be a great idea. After playing the act, I'll ask him to stay away from me. He can’t say no to me this time.I smiled to myself.“Fine. I'll just take a shower and get dressed.” Gian raised from kneeling down. “Uhm, wait. Where are we going to meet your Mom? At Mon Refuge or Orange Cup.”“In my unit.” Gian frowned. “What makes you say yes? Are you up with something?”I glared at him. “You are not in place to ask questions. You are the one who needs help, so shut up and live. I'll be at your door after thirty minutes.”“Your smile makes me nervous. I know you are up with something, Chyna.” Gian insisted.I faced him arrogantly. “Do you want me to help or not?” I even crossed my arms above my chest.“Fine.”
CHYNA“Mom, that’s way back before. I changed the very moment I met Chyna.”Gian went beside me and hugged me tightly. As if he was giving me a sign. I didn’t flinch even though I wanted to push him away.“Chyna was too possessive. How do I manage to changed women very often? Right, sweety?”“Yeah. Didn’t we agreed that I'll skin you alive if ever I found out that you are dating another woman?” A wicked smile formed on my lips.Gian forced a smile. “Yeah. See that, Mom? How can I manage to attend those blind dates you set me up? The Salvatores might kill me as well.”“The Salvatores?” His Mom turned to me. “You are a daughter to Michael and Laurice Salvatore?”“Yes, Ma'am. I am the youngest.”I assumed Gian’s Mom knew my parents. Our family was one of the richest.&ldquo
CHYNA“Chyna, honey. I was just worried about you, your situation, and your reputation.” Tita Mildred went soft and caring when she turned to me. “I could tell what are you two were doing. What if you get pregnant? Your parents and us should talk about you and your plans—”“Wait. Why would I get pregnant?”Did the hotel room had recorded that night? And someone had uploaded it on the internet? If so, then I should have known.“I knew what you kids were doing. The paintings said it all. And you, Gian. You must act up. Be a man to whatever you did.”“Me?” Gian pointed himself, confused.“Yeah. And you must keep those painting in your bedroom.”“What painting?” I whispered grimly at Gian.I have this feeling that the painting was the very reason why the older woman suddenly changed her mood.“I shou
CHYNA“I always believed in the saying that it was bad luck to burn someone else images,” Gian said while busy piling up the firewood. We are here at Neptune Cove. The exact place where the campers stayed with their campfires. Gian asked the staff of Neptune Cove to bring them some firewood and gasoline. This is where we will going to burn the paintings. Not a bad idea because there’s no one here to camp anyway.“I don’t believe in that kind of stuff. Besides, it is more humiliating to see others gawking at my nude images.” I snorted.I can’t believe he keeps these paintings. No one knew if he was watching it in his free time.“It’s ready,” Gian said and set the fire.I started to throw the paintings one by one. We just watched it until it burns. I made sure I turned back the painting before throwing it to make sure Gian wouldn’t watch the painting while burni
CHYNA“Come on, Mom. You are here to relax. Why bother caring about my relationship status.” Gian commented.“Because I know you are not the type to take things and relationships seriously. I was worried about your future.”Somehow, I sympathize with Tita Mildred. Mom told me about that thing with Thorx. She was worry Thorx wouldn’t have any plan of settling down.“Anyway, I am staying here for a month or two. So, see you around.” Tita Mildred announced. It cuts my thoughts.“What? Why are you staying that long?” Gian demanded. He seems he didn’t anticipate it. And sure, he doesn’t like it. I also have an idea that this acting game would be prolonged.“I wanted to have a vacation. Why are you so distressed about that? Is there anything I shouldn’t see here?” Tita Mildred asks in suspicion.“Nothing, of course. Alright, enj
