"Alex, Alex" His mum called out from the sitting room.
Alex answered from the dining room. "Yes, mother? "
Rushing to his side she said "Alex, he is back" .
FINITIE'S POV
"Were you able to get what I asked?" I glared at Red because I knew she was not able to get what I asked for and I want to know why.
"No boss, I was not able to get it. " she said this while bowing down her head.
Bowling my hands into fists on my table, I punched it with so much force a hole was formed in the middle of the table. I yelled "....and why was that? What stopped you from carrying out my orders ?......."
"......It was Alex. He was there……" she stated without blinking.
I jabbed the table the second time and a crack sound could be heard. Looking straight at her, I said"..... Alex was there and that stopped you from carrying out my orders ? For someone who can mask her scent, I am surprised at the silly excuse you are lying to me about. For the last time, what stopped you from carrying out my orders?....... "
She was standing in the middle of the room, with her hands situated behind her, her head held high, chest out. She was not affected at the least. Showing no emotions. Her face is plain like clear waters. It doesn't surprise me though, I expect more than being emotionless.
"...... It was Star, she almost caught me so I had to leave before I was discovered… .." she said, trying to bail herself .
".....Star almost caught you , you expect me to believe that?...." I glared at her.
The room was dark, the only source of light was the half moon shining into the room. We stared at each other for minutes which seemed like hours , glaring at each other listening to each others heartbeat trying to see what is going on in each other's minds.
".......You may go but next time don't fail me. Am I clear?...." I asked, standing right at her face.
Looking directly at my eye balls with no sentiments not flickering, she said ".....yes boss. Can I go?..... " she
asked while raising her eyebrows .I nodded my head yes and waved at
her"......you may go… "
I stood there glaring at her as she left the room. I know she is not saying the truth for someone as powerful and smart as she is, killing someone is like a child's play to her. She is up to something and I need to know what that is. If there is anything I hate in my entire life, it is to be caught off-guard. I see it as an insult to me. Especially if I was caught off guard by Alex. I detest him so much and I need to get Star before the blood moon.
Strolling towards the phone positioned at my table I phoned Stacy.
She picked on the second ring and answered "......Yes?.... "
I barked into the phone".....To my room. Now !……"
She sighed "......I have told you so many times not to be ordering like I am some sort of……"
I hung up. Not wanting to hear what she has to say because I already know what she wants to say.
The hallway towards my room was dark and long. Walking towards my room I was lost in my thought's . Thinking of how to get rid of Alex and Claim Star. My head began to ache. Rubbing my temples I reached my room and opened my door shutting it with a loud thud. Losing my tie, Stacy walked in without knocking.
"....How many times have I told you to knock before bargaining into my room ?… ." I asked with my voice laced with annoyance.
".....And how many times have I told you not to be ordering around like I am some sort of a servant or one of your toys?....... She replied back almost immediately, questioning me.
Turning towards her, I grabbed her by the throat choking her, I moved her to the wall close to my bed. My eye color turning orange from green almost immediately, breathing heavily I said
".......You have some nerve responding to me back……"
"......Finite, I can't breathe…." she choked out while hitting my arm begging for air.

Letting her go, she fell to the ground coughing, gasping for air and crawling backwards. She looked so miserable, her eyes watery.
"...Are you trying to kill me?…" she asked
I turned away from her ,ignoring her question and asked ".....what up with Red?..... " while taking off my jacket.
"......I don't know…..." she glared at me and rubbed her neck.
I pointed directly at her face "....What do you mean, you don't know? . You are supposed to be aware of what everyone does in the pack, who they meet and where they go. Every single information……."
She lowered her head.
".........What about Star. Any update?..... " I asked while taking off my shoes.
She hesitated for a while before answering
"....No. There is no update…."
Stopping what I was doing, I looked at her for a moment. Is she keeping something from me ? she better not.
Standing up, coming towards her direction I said "......You'd better be telling the truth. You know I hate lies and you are fully aware of what I do to people who lie to me……"
She gulped and said "...I am not lying. There is no update on Star……"
".....So you mean she is not ready to be marked yet?..... " I asked, trying to get an answer from her.
"......No she is not ready……" she added and looked away.
I was inches away from her. She stood close to the wall not moving an inch. Just her chest moving up and down as she breathed. I looked at her breasts then her face and held her by the chin with my thumb and index finger, I tilted her head to the side. Admiring the mark on her neck imprinted on her by me, I licked it and kissed it. She gasped , I could feel her body responding to my touch, her nipples more visible and pronounced . She stumbled towards the bathroom. I love it when women react to my touch. I was about stripping but a call stopped me. Seriously! I screamed. I hate being interrupted when I am about to play. The phone stopped ringing and taking two steps forward towards the bathroom, it rang again. I raised my eyebrows at the phone by my bedside table.
I was going to ignore it but decided against it and thought it was important so I answered "What?"
