ALEX'S POVStar lost consciousness on our way to the hospital. Her body temperature was rising fast. Ethan was fast and we reached the hospital in half an hour. Ethan rushed into the emergency unit and I carried Star out of the car. He came back with two nurses and a stretcher. I placed her on the stretcher and she was wheeled into the (ER) emergency room. Ethan and I were sitting in the waiting area.Mum came in 30minutes after our arrival and rushed to my side. "How is she?" STAR'S POVI don't know how I did it but I did it. I made the sedative given to me by the Doctor wear off from my system before the proposed time. I was dazed at first and drafted into sleep but I woke up within 30minutes. I sat up on the bed and took in my surroundings. I could hear people's voices from the rooms around mine and I could perceive so many scents at once. The revelation I saw from Alex's past is buried deep within my soul. I can't believe he could do that to me, I thought he loved me. I can't go back to that house, everyone betrayed me even Aunt Kate betrayed me. The First Lady I saw was seated on a wheelchair, I didn't know her so I moved to the second lady which was Star. She was gagged, her both hands were tied behind together with her legs. Finite rushed to the lady on the wheelchair and cupped her face. She was not gagged but was unconscious, signs of violence could be seen in her face. Her left eye was swollen and purple.
