Keep Her Company

Jenna's mother is completely disoriented. For a moment, she wished she could just replace her daughter. She would not have truly liked receiving this for any one of her family. Nobody will be concerned about her daughter's 10-year prison sentence. The fact that she is merely a young girl in high school will go unnoticed.

However, by all means, no one can truly consider eighteen to be merely a child's age. That is the age of adulthood. Given that she committed an error and truly had no idea what she was doing, it is only just that the judge was able to sentence her to ten years. The only people who are now supporting her are Jenna's friends Alex, Chloe, and Lily. They watch in horror as Jenna is led by two police guards from the court boot into a waiting prison van that will transport her to the prison.

They are all looking at the scene in shock and are crying quietly.

That their close friend would, for once, find herself in such a precarious circumstance is beyond belief for all
