"Hi, little one." She whispered softly as she started rocking the baby in her arms.Roman watched them with wide eyes. A small smile crept across his face. He felt a surge of happiness coursing throughout his veins. He leaned against the door frame, contented with how his life had turned out. He had found happiness once more. As he listened to the gentle sounds coming from Celine's mouth, he couldn't help but feel like there was something missing. Something that had always been important to him, but now he realized that it might not be missing anymore.Celine stared at her reflection in the mirror. She didn’t even realize that the tears streaming down her face had already begun flowing freely. After Roman left her alone in the house a few minutes ago, Celine had managed to pull herself together and had made her way upstairs to try and calm herself down before the baby woke up.When she heard a loud thud coming from outside of her bedroom door, she quickly wiped her tears away, put o
“Hey.” She said.He looked at her and raised an eyebrow.“What are you doing? Are you alright?” He asked concerned.“Uh, yeah. I’m fine. I just came to ask you something.” She explained.Roman shrugged.“Okay. What’s wrong?”“Well, you remember how our kids are always asking to see you when you leave for work?”He nodded his head.“Well, they’re getting really sick and I don’t think I can leave them alone for too long so I thought maybe you could come home early tonight and watch them for a little bit. I promise to go back as soon as I can. If that’s okay.”She bit her bottom lip and waited anxiously for his response. She watched his facial expression change from concern to surprise to realization. She knew that Roman understood where she was coming from but she was afraid that he wouldn’t take this seriously considering how busy he seemed to be most days. “I guess that’s okay. I have to finish up some paperwork anyways.”She smiled nervously at him and let out a sigh of relief. “Tha
“How are they feeling?” He asked.“Fine. I fed them breakfast and they ate their lunch and lunchtime snack before you woke up. They seem quite content with the current situation.”Roman nodded. He could hear their voices faintly through the walls. He leaned his forehead against hers and closed his eyes. Celine cupped his face softly, rubbing her thumbs against his skin.“It’s going to be okay. Everything is going to be just fine. We’re together now, and nothing is going to separate us again. I promise.”He smiled and gave her a slight nod. He brought his hands up to her hair and combed through it lightly. His fingers tangled themselves in her soft black locks and he couldn’t help but run his thumb across the smooth surface of her scalp. The movement of his thumb caused her to relax her shoulders ever so slightly. Her eyes fluttered shut and she leaned into his touch. Roman pulled away slightly and caressed her cheek with his free hand, admiring every single feature on her face. He h
He hummed in response and then kissed the bruise tenderly, smiling when her knee jerked in reaction. He moved upward once more and kissed her hip bone before moving upwards once more. After that, he moved his lips downward until he finally reached her sensitive spot. She let out a gasp as his tongue began to work its magic. He licked it gently, causing her to arch her back off of the bed and place her hands behind her head. He pulled his tongue away and glanced at her with a small smile. He leaned down once again and kissed her sweet spot between her legs before running his tongue around it, causing her to moan loudly. She lifted her hips slightly and dug her nails into his back. He continued his assault and made his way down towards her core, stopping right before he hit it. He continued to tease her, running his tongue around and teasing her entrance. Just when she thought that it was about to take over entirely, he removed his mouth from her and instead positioned himself betwee
"I love you too." She whispered in return. He pressed a few quick kisses against her neck and smiled. "Goodnight, baby girl." They stood there hugging each other, content in the moment. It wasn't often that Roman and Celine would spend time together alone like this. They were always together in the middle of a mission or something, whether it be training, sparring, patrolling or whatever. And when they weren't busy, they were usually surrounded by their friends. But they didn't know what they were going to do after tonight. The next morning Celine woke up first. She smiled when she noticed Roman was still asleep next to her. She rolled over and kissed him softly on his cheek."Hey beautiful." She murmured softly. He hummed softly in response."You're gonna have to wake up soon though. You need to go pick up your brothers and sister."He opened one eye and frowned slightly."Do we have to?" He whined slightly. She smiled at the sight of him pouting cutely."Yes." She replied playfull
Roman and Celine had spent almost the entire day trying to get ready. Well actually Celine hadn't exactly spent the whole day helping him. The only thing she had done was sit around the house and watch the garden scenery with him while she waited for his father to arrive. Which was weird, considering they had just been talking earlier but she decided that maybe they needed to relax a little and just enjoy each other's company today. They were both tired of fighting and hiding, and she was sure that Roman was as well. She knew he didn't like being the center of attention either, but that's where they came in to help him calm down. So far it was working quite well, he seemed to be calmer than usual, although he would occasionally get annoyed or angry. They arrived at the Castle shortly after ten o'clock, and Celine led the way inside, leading the way to the throne room. It was empty at the moment, save for the King's two guards who stood at the entrance to the hallway. The King himse
"Mom, please tell me what's wrong.""I'm sorry for scaring you." She said, keeping her gaze trained on the horizon. "But if I had my way I wouldn't be here. I wouldn't be sitting on a hill watching the sunset."Roman furrowed his eyebrows and turned towards the setting sun. "What do you mean?""The sunsets here are beautiful." She explained. "But when I was a child, it was always painful because I never got to enjoy it."He gave her a confused look. "So you miss it?""Of course I miss it," she told him. "I miss everything. Everything except the ones I love the most. You and Celine, I miss them so much, Roman."He frowned, not understanding why she was telling him these things. "I don't understand."His mother sighed softly. "When I was young I thought it would be fun to run through the woods, climbing trees and chasing rabbits." She laughed lightly. "I loved that game very much. But then I lost my parents and I felt like I didn't have anyone left to chase after anymore.""I guess th
After putting his bag down and taking his seat, he looked around the room and noticed many people looking at him strangely. He furrowed his eyebrows slightly and turned to his right to see who their attention was focused on. His eyes widened when they landed on someone sitting at the back of the classroom. She was wearing a black dress and was holding a book close to her chest, hiding her face from everyone around her. Roman recognized her instantly, and the first thought that came to mind was to go over and talk to her. He took one step forward and realized that everyone around her was staring at him.He walked away.King Roman still spending his time with his wife Celine and their beautiful babies , even though it seemed impossible. After all, the queen and king had died in battle years ago, and he and Lady Celine had taken care of the kingdom while they were gone. Now that the royal family was dead, Roman had become the ruler. It's not easy running a kingdom by yourself, especial
King Roman finally get all of he ever wanted the throne, peace and his family back without any disturbing, he feels so happy to raise his children together with his beloved wife Celine.Celine was finally able to get out from the cursed and finally together with King Roman."Celine, let me take you into the magical garden there."Celine nodded and King Roman kept holding her hand.He kissed her hands and she smiled happily at him.The two got out of the castle and started walking in the garden. It wasn't just the normal garden but a magic garden that could make plants grow from anything. They went through the garden and when they get to a small pond near the garden Celine jumped into the water. She swims around happily and laughs as she looks up from the water. When she comes back out she saw that the king hasn't follow her so she looked over where she last seen him.He was standing right at the edge of the pond looking at something that made him smile like never before. Her husband a
Unfortunately, this didn’t stop his heart from breaking a little whenever they cried or when they woke up screaming in the middle of the night, scared of monsters or demons, unable to control themselves. Sometimes, Roman wondered if he should try to help them somehow, but then he remembered what happened the previous day. If he had interfered, then the kidnappers would have gotten away with everything, and Celine and his daughters would have died. Instead, he decided to ignore them, pretending as if nothing had happened and letting the incident be completely forgotten. This way, Celine could have a normal life again, and he could finally sleep without worrying about her.As Roman went through that process of ignoring and forgetting about the incident, he gradually began to grow tired. Despite that fact, he stayed up until late into the night before finally falling asleep. When he woke up the next morning, the sun was shining brightly and he could hear birds singing outside in the
Slowly and cautiously, he moved his gaze toward the direction that he thought he had seen the source of the noise coming from. And suddenly, he realized that the source of the sound had been Celine’s hand. She was clutching her left hand tightly in both of hers and she had begun rocking herself back and forth in a small circle. The movements weren’t violent, though, but rather rhythmic, and were definitely something that Roman recognized as something she frequently did when she was upset. It wasn’t that Roman was surprised that Celine was having trouble sleeping or that he was worried that she might be feeling uncomfortable. After all, she had been through quite a bit today, and it was understandable that she might feel that way. But what shocked him was that she was apparently doing it in the middle of the night instead of at the usual hour when he would normally be waking her up to ask her if she needed anything. It was odd behaviour for her, especially after what had happened
So, he would wait. He would patiently try to support his wife, and he would try to be there for her, and he would do his best to make sure that she was always happy. But above all else, he would have to keep reminding himself to stay calm. No matter how angry he was, no matter how hard he tried, he wouldn’t be able to break down if he were to lose his composure. And if he broke down, there was no doubt that he would never forgive himself. Not for something like that. He might not understand what it was like to live with her constantly and watch her suffer, but he didn’t want to find out what the outcome might be if he actually broke down. So, for the sake of his family, he would remain strong and hold himself together. That way, if things did end up getting rough, he had a chance to save what little remained of his family and his sanity. And that was all that really mattered. Everything else, everything else was just distractions. His thoughts were broken away from their current tr
It had become quite clear over the course of the last two weeks that he wasn’t going to be able to keep pushing Celine as far as he normally would have. It pained him to see her hurting like this. He understood, logically speaking, that she was still in a fragile place mentally, but it seemed that the more time that passed by and the more painful memories that surfaced, the less he wanted to push her. So, in order to help her move forward, he would have to allow her to talk to him, but only after she had been cleared for release. He was going to be patient with her, however long it took. In fact, he would be patient for years if it meant that he would eventually be granted the opportunity to help her heal and grow stronger.Roman sighed deeply and ran his fingers through his hair before turning his attention back to the book resting on his lap. It was nearing the end of the third chapter and he had already finished reading through it three times. This was the fourth time he had re
Celine continued crying quietly, occasionally letting out a small whimper or sniffle, until she finally lost the ability to hold back anymore. She sat against the cold white tiles, hugging herself tightly and allowing her body to relax as much as it possibly could. A part of her wished that she didn’t need to be rescued, that she could just fall asleep and never wake up again. Or that someone would come in and save her from everything else. Maybe Roman would come back after work and sweep her up into his arms and carry her to bed. Perhaps she could convince him to stay. To spend forever with her. To be happy together. But no matter how desperately she hoped that was going to happen, it wasn’t going to happen. Because he wouldn’t be back for another week and even if he was, that wouldn’t give her enough time to convince him that her problems were truly worth helping her deal with. It just wasn’t realistic. She wasn’t going to lie. It hurt. There was a part of her that still loved h
Roman sat down at the other end of the counter, turning his head so that his eyes were looking up at her. He had a soft smile on his face and she was unable to avoid smiling back. She loved when he smiled like that. It made her feel warm inside. It brought back memories of simpler times that she wished she could forget. When they were both young and in love. When things between them weren’t complicated or hard to work through. Before everything had gone so wrong and they were separated by miles upon miles of ocean. Before they had even met. “So…what happened?” he asked hesitantly.“What do you mean?”“Well last night was kind of weird…and today isn’t exactly the best situation either, so what happened last night that has you so upset?”“Don’t worry about it,” she mumbled.“It doesn’t look like you want to talk about it,” he pointed out. “And honestly, I think it would probably make you feel better if I knew what was going on. We don’t know each other that well yet…we hardly know
The next morning, when Celine awoke, Roman was lying on the couch, facing her, sound asleep. His arm was slung over the top of her torso and he was snoring gently into her shoulder. He looked peaceful as his eyebrows were relaxed and his mouth hung slightly open. For a split second, he looked younger and less exhausted than he usually did. His hair was disheveled, sticking out at odd angles and there was an obvious flush on his face due to the heat radiating from the heater. Her heart fluttered in her chest at the sight. He looked so adorable and it gave her butterflies to see him looking so tired and worn out. She reached up with her hands to push some of his messy curls away from his forehead before running her fingers lightly over his temples, pushing them downwards gently as she did so. His eyes fluttered for a moment and she thought he was about to wake up, but instead, he nuzzled into her hand, sighing contently as he continued to drift further and further towards slumber.A
Roman nodded quickly, standing up and walking swiftly towards the kitchen. He rummaged around inside the medicine cabinet for a bit, searching through the various bottles until he managed to find a bottle which he immediately popped open and handed to her. She took it gingerly and swallowed down two capsules. She glanced up at him and smiled gratefully. “Thanks.”“You’re welcome. How are you feeling anyway? Are you really alright?”She nodded. “Yeah. I’m fine. A little dizzy, maybe. But I’ll manage. It’s just exhaustion.”He frowned slightly. “But you just said that it’s been three weeks. What happened? Have you not slept for three weeks now?”“I told you, Roman. My body is just adjusting to everything that happened. That’s all. Don’t worry about it. Please, stop asking questions. You’re making me uncomfortable.”Roman sighed and sat back down on the couch, taking her hand into his again. “I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have asked so many questions.”“No, no, you’re fine. Just please stop
