Theodore POV

I walked out of the room, leaving Aria and Becca to chat.

I ran into Mother Esma in the hallway.

“Theodore, can we talk?.” She requested.

We sat at the Cafe, I ordered coffee for both of us.

She heaved a deep breath.

“I don’t know how to beg for your forgiveness, for everything.” She peeped.

I shook my head. “You don’t have to.”

“I hurt you Theodore, I lied to you, because of me, Alexandra hurt you and even Aria so much.” She lamented.

I took her hands in mine.

“I understand why you did it Mother Esma, Alexandra threatened you.” I said softly.

“I can’t believe you had to live in fear all this while” I mumbled.

A tear slid down her cheeks.

“I wanted so many times to tell you but I knew with one snap of her finger, my Pancho could be dead.”

“I’m afraid of what she would do now, to him, to you.” She cried, as she wiped the tears rolling down her cheeks with the back of her palm.

I moved closer to her and placed her head on my shoulders.
