Shane glanced down at Haley, raising an eyebrow slightly.

Meeting his dark gaze, Haley suddenly felt a bit guilty. She blinked, her eyes clear and innocent as if saying, "Don’t ask me. I don’t know anything too."

"Why are you all standing around? Haley, come in and sit. Shane, please, have a seat too," said Mr. Fisher Sr. as he entered, supported by Charles and Yvonne on either side. Though he still looked a bit weary, his good spirits were evident from his expression.
