It was him. That devil that just returned from hell. I didn't even know that son of a gun.

I rolled my eyes at him and started walking to class. I was already late because of that stunt Alessia pulled.

He walked by my side and tried to wrap his arms around me but I shook it off.

"You're pretty,"he smirked at me.

"Thanks,it means a lot."

I snickered at him as I walked to my locker to pick my note.

I kept walking as he also kept tugging at my hoodie.

"Can you move?" He was standing in front of me.

"You're different," he smiled and I think I melted.

"Again, thanks," I brushed past him but he pulled me back by my wrist.

He pulled me close to him that our noses were touching. He smelled like roses and his breath, like milk.

My hand was poking his abs and I looked down.

"Checking me out?"He grinned widely at me.

"In your dreams," I whispered back.

"You like this position, don't you?" he smirked, brushing my hair with his hands.

"Get a life, you asshole!" I raised my knee with force into his groin.

I watched as his eyes widened. He let me go and knelt on the ground, trying to attend to Luke Jr.

"Bye darling," I waved mockingly and left the spot for class.

As I approached the class, the teacher strolled out,his back was facing me.

Class was already over. I entered quietly and sat down in between Scott and Ivy.

She gave me a weak smile. I looked over at Scott and hit his ear, hard. "Ow!"he whined, rubbing his ear.

"What was that for?"

"For not being there for your girlfriend!"

"I know,I heard. I'm sorry."

"You should be," I rolled my eyes at him.

The entire class went silent and like a moment later, it went loud again.

I turned my head swiftly, giving myself a whiplash in the process. He strolled leisurely into the class and took a seat behind me.

"Hey pretty,"he smirked at me.

Ivy looked at my face for a explanation.

"You didn't learn your lesson, right?"

"I don't wanna play no game," he sang.

"Hey Luke," Scott greeted him with a smile.

"What's up, Daniels?"

"I'm good, you?"

"You really expect me to answer that?" he grimaced. "Dude, I just arrived from prison and you're asking if I'm good?"

I stood up realizing that the next subject was maths.

"No one sent you there."

"You talking to me, honey?"

"I ain't talking to you, darling."

I picked up my bag.

"You skipping class?" Ivy asked, looking up at me.

"Yeah, I need to see Julian. I'll meet you guys at lunch."

"Bye,"Scott waved.

I walked out of Preston and headed towards Pizzaria. Julian was my boyfriend. He was in college. Two years older than me.

I saw him sitting at one of the booths in the shop and he waved me over. I walked in and sat beside him.

"Hey babe," he kissed me and I kissed back. He starts to deepen it but I pulled back for air.

"You're skipping class to see me?"

"Yeah," I placed my head on his chest while he wrapped his arms around my waist.

"You okay?" He asked noticing my mood.

"I'm fine," I whispered into the crook of his neck.

"You know ' I'm fine' means you're not."

"I'm fine, just a little bit stressed."

"I think I can take care of that," he smirked as his lips met mine. I smiled into his lips and locked his hair with my fingertips.

"Harvey!" Someone yelled making me jolt.

Great, someone had to ruin this moment.

I disengaged our embrace and turned to look at the speaker. I scowled at his sight. He was grinning widely at me.

"Henderson!" I growled as I lunged forward at him. Julian pulled me back.

"Luke?"

"Mendes! Long time no see."

He held out his fist for Julian to bump which he did. I looked at Julian, confused.

"You know this ass?" I pointed at Luke.

"Of course,we met a long time ago."

"Where?" I raised an eyebrow.

Julian grew silent at my question.

"Tell the lady where we met."

He sat opposite us and popped a fry into his mouth.

"We...m..met at.." He stuttered.

"Oh, come on! Stop being a pussy and tell the lady where we met!" Luke smirked.

Julian let out a sigh and said," We met in prison."

My eyes widened a bit.

"You went to prison? For what?"

"DUI. But I swear it was before we met." He pleaded.

"It's okay." I looked at my wristwatch. "I gotta go,see you later." I kissed him and Luke scoffed.

"Later, love," he replied.

I got out of the shop and started walking back to school.

I was about to plug in my earphones when Luke appeared from nowhere and snatched my phone.

"Luke!" I yelled at him.

"Wow, first time you called my name. I'm touched." He placed his right hand on his chest in mockery.

"My phone," I said sternly.

"Don't worry, I'm not taking it away. I just wanna add my number to your contact list." Then his phone started ringing.

"Done." He handed back my phone.

"I hate you,"I muttered silently.

"I love you too,"he replied as we approached the school premises.

"Hey Luke!" Someone yelled from the soccer field. His other half came running to him. "Dude,I gotta tell you someth.... Well, hello beautiful." He bowed mockingly.

"Can you two just leave me alone?" I stared at them.

"Yeah,sure," Lucas shrugged.

"Thank you," I breathed out and walked to the cafeteria.

I sighted Scott and Ivy at a table and I walked towards them. I settled beside Ivy.

"What took you so long?" She whined.

"I met a distraction on the way." I replied as I  picked up her Coke.

"Distraction?"

I told them the whole Luke episode and they listened.

"So, he walked you back to school?"

Scott smirked.

"More like followed."

"I think he likes you." Ivy said and I choked on the Coke.

I started coughing and Ivy patted my back gently.

After I was back to normal, I started laughing really hard and my two friends looked at me weirdly.

"What's so funny?" Ivy questioned.

"You think Luke likes me?" I said.

"Yeah."

"Ivy," I patted her on the head. "Sweet innocent Ivy. People like Luke don't like girls,they f**k them. If he's close to me,he only wants to get in between my legs."

"Lucas is throwing a party tomorrow,a beach party. We're invited." Scott said.

"By 'we' you mean the soccer team or what?"

"You, she and I." He pointed with his fingers.

"I'm not interested," I groaned.

"Look,I don't want you to think I'm harsh or anything for laying you guys off but I need my space. So, you can just go back to my parents."

And with that, I sent all the workers in the house away. The maid,the chef, the gardener,the security guard, etc .

That was the first time my parents came to see me.

"You sent them to us! What were you thinking? "

Dad yelled through the entire house.

"I was thinking nothing. And besides,old geezer,I'm old enough to live alone."

And I walked upstairs.

Some minutes later, I came downstairs and they were gone. Both of them.

I saw a wad of cash on the table and they credited my account every month.

Way to go, parents.

"You're crazy!"Ivy threw a pillow at me.

"I know."

"Three different guys, Tess. Three!"

"I know,,I wasn't thinking straight."

"You slept with three guys you don't even know."

"Don't worry,I used protection." I smiled at her.

"Is that the main thing right now?"

"Then, what is?"

"Tess," Scott called." Was it at the same time? I mean was it a thre**ome?"

"No, I wasn't. I met them differently."

"You disappointed me," Ivy muttered.

"I know. I've been doing that to everyone lately."

I felt angry. At myself.

At everyone. At everything.

I sighed softly and walked into the kitchen and grabbed a bar.

"Do you ever eat more than that?" Scott asked.

I shrugged and waved at them while walking up the stairs.

I felt a pain shoot through my stomach.

Shit.

I walked straight to my room and then to my bathroom.

I grabbed a sanitary pad from my cupboard and did my business.

I managed to get downstairs into the kitchen. I rested my elbow on the island and rested my cheek in my palm.

I winced as the pain came again.

Scott strolled into the kitchen and saw me bent over.

"What's wrong?"

I looked up at him, embarrassed.

"Is it your Japan?"

I nodded slowly as pink crept up my cheeks.

"Ivy!" He called out.

She came in and saw me bent in that same position.

"What happened?"

"Her Japan."

"Is it supposed to be here now?"

Scott brought out his phone and tapped on it. It's the period tracker.

"Yeah, it's scheduled for today."

"Well, don't just scoot there. Take a cold shower and sleep it off. When you were banging three guys yesterday,you should have...."

I brushed past her with anger evident on my face.

Fuck you Japan.

Not the country though,I mean the country's cool and all but..
