All Over

I couldn't remember how I fell asleep last night but I opened my eyes to the smell of bacon.

Stupid Theresa. Thinking about food when you injured someone.

I wanted to get up but a pair of large arms prevented me from doing so.

I turned around to face Scott who was still asleep. His bangs fell on his forehead. A tear slipped down my face and I wiped it off immediately.

I struggled free and covered him with the duvet. I took a quick shower and helped myself to his clothes.

I brought out a pair of black sweatpants and threw it on. I walked downstairs and saw Tanya making breakfast.

"Good morning," I walked to the kitchen.

"Morning dear, how was your night?"

I smiled at her. "Is Noah up?"

"He went to school two hours ago."

Two hours ago? How long did you sleep Theresa?

"Can I get.."

"Sandwiches?" She filled in for me. "Yeah." She pointed to a lunch box on the kitchen island.

I grabbed the box and spun around on my heels before colliding with a rock hard chest.

I looked up to see Scott dressed up.

"Where are you going?" He took a sandwich from the table.

"The hospital," I muttered.

"Should I tell Ivy?"

"No, give me a ride, please."

He grabbed his keys from the counter and we walked out of the house. He pulled out of their driveway and we drove towards the hospital.

"So, Ryder said you're going back to therapy." It sounded more like a question.

"When did you guys talk?"

"He called me this morning to inquire about you."

"I'm gonna stay at yours for a week."

"No problem."

We parked in the underground parking lot and took the elevator up.

"What room is he in?"

"VIP 1."

He pulled me to a stop. I looked up at him.

"I'm assuming you paid, right?"

I nodded meekly.

"Why?"

I looked everywhere except for his eyes.

"Cause I felt responsible for him."

He released a deep sigh and pulled me to the wards. He halted in front of a door that said,

     'VIP 1: Luke Henderson

      Do not disturb.'

He pushed the door open and I stiffened. I peeked in and he was asleep,so was Ryder on the couch.

We walked in quietly and I left the sandwiches by his bedside. I turned to leave but a hand pulled me. I flinched and lost my balance. I fell on top of Luke who was looking directly at me.

He intentionally pulled me!

Guilt started to build up in me as I scurried to my feet and out of the room.

   Few minutes later, Scott came out with a worried look. "He wants to see you."

I sighed.

Lets get this over with.

  I walked in and Luke was sitting up on his bed.

"Theresa," he smiled and held out his arms.

Let's do this.

"I intentionally hurt you. I don't feel any remorse whatsoever. When you're done receiving treatment, you can leave. I already took care of your bills. From this moment onward, we don't know each other anymore. I came here to say that." I rambled and he watched me keenly.

His lips formed into a smile.

"You came here to say that? Then how come you brought food?" He pointed at the box.

"Anyway,we shouldn't acknowledge each other anymore since we're strangers now." 

"Theresa, I won't abandon you. No matter how bad or cold you treat me, I'll stand by you."

I bit my lip.

I vowed never to do this in my life.

I pulled a wad of cash from my purse and sprayed it on him.

"Tessa!" Ryder yelled at me and Scott ran in.

"Don't bother me again." I said and walked out.

As soon as I got out, I rested on the wall and slid down.

I was gradually turning into my parents. I was becoming a monster.

"Let's go," Scott held out a hand for me and I took it.

We drove to my house and I grabbed a few clothes and books. When I was about to get into the car, Ryder called me.

"Mendes played you. He's not gay."

"What?"

"Check his profile." He disconnected the call.

I logged in to F******k and went to Jay Mendes' profile. I saw a pic of him locking lips with a girl. It was just uploaded an hour ago.

Why would he lie about something I would find out  about so soon?

I looked closely at the picture's background and smiled.

I stomped off into the car and faced Scott. "We're going to Pizzeria."

He drove us there and I inspected the place before entering. I entered and saw Julian and that girl in the picture making out,in a restaurant! People eat here you know.

I walked over and slid in beside Julian. He was too focused to notice. I cleared my throat twice before they eventually pulled apart. Julian saw me and turned red.

"Tess,w..wha... what are you doing here?" He stammered and tried to straighten himself.

"What? I can't come here anymore?" I smiled at him.

"Who is she?" Pretty lady asked as she gave me the look.

"She's.."

"Does she know you're gay?" I nudged his shoulder.

    She burst into a fit of laughter that attracted a lot of people and tears started rolling out of her eyes.

"I'm guessing you're not gay?" I said again.

"I'm not!"

A sudden urge of courage sprung through him. "Your parents and I had a deal that night and then you began to be so attached to me. I stayed close to you because of sex and you refused to give me. I was tired. You're just a dirty slut who....."

Oh no you don't!

   I sprung forward with my hand in a fist and punched his face. He rolled to the ground and pretty face let out a high pitched scream.

She raised her hand to slap me.

"Not so fast, bitch!" I caught her hand by the fingers and pressed it backwards. She groaned in pain as I released her and faced Julian.

"Next time Mendes, you don't play with a girl's heart." I stormed out of the restaurant and walked towards the car.

"Tess!" A voice yelled.

I turned around and Scott came out of his car. Johnson was running towards me.

"I gotta show you something!" He started removing his shirt.

"What are you doing?"

He removed his shirt and turned his back to me. On the upper side of his back, something was tattooed there in calligraphy.

    Never call a woman a bitch or she might just act like one.

"What do you think of it?" He turned to me, smiling goofily.

"We're not even friends," I said and entered the car. Scott ignited the engine and drove out.

We were silent through the entire trip home. I saw a figure standing on his porch.

Ivy.

She was dressed in a blue shirt with black leggings and black flats . Her hair was in pigtails with glasses perched on her nose.

Geek day, I forgot.

Scott glanced at me and said,

"You didn't sleep with Julian?"

"Yeah."

"Wow."

I raised an eyebrow at him before focusing on Ivy's angry face. Scott pulled over and we got out.

"What is wrong with you guys? Where have you been?'' She flailed her arms about.

I looked at Scott and gave him a look that said," don't tell her."

He looked back at me with a "what am I gonna tell her?" look.

I shrugged and turned to Ivy.

"He was a little bit sick so I came over to help him."

"Why didn't you call me?" She whined. "I tried to call both of you but you weren't answering. Then,I got worried and came here."

I nodded.

"Did you guys hear the latest news?" She looked at us.

"Luke was almost murdered last night. He's been posting pictures of him in the hospital bed on I*******m."

I looked at Scott who locked eyes with me.

I almost killed him.

The memories of last night came flooding through my head and I held my head. It was hurting. I screamed and fell.
