Chapter 119 – Evelyn Wants to See You

The following morning; Emmett dropped Leona off at Lively Studio Designs. She was meeting the rest of the models to do a fitting for the runway show at the end of the week. “I’ll head back with Katrina afterwards” she tells Emmett, leaning over to give Emmett a kiss before stepping out of the car.

Continuing to the Lester Drake Media building; Tiffany calls Emmett’s phone. “Tiff” he says, pushing the answer button on his steering wheel.

“I have an older lady here” she says down the phone. “She’s saying she wants to see you and she asked me to message Rick to come here.”

“Who is it?” Emmett asks, turning the corner.

“She won’t tell me” Tiffany replies before whispering the rest of her sentence. “She looks like an older version of Sylvia. I think she’s Rick’s grandmother.”

‘Evelyn Springfield wants to see me?’ Emmett contemplates in his mind. ‘Why?’ he adds before answering Tiffany. “Message Rick to come to my office. Don’t tell him why” Emmett responds. “I’ll be there shortly.”
