A Daughter of Theirs

I walk outside, just wondering on the lawn near my grandfather’s room. He was taking a rest now, still denied that his private investigators did find something, and he kept it from me. I was furious and just couldn’t believe him. The thought that he need to lie to his own granddaughter. For what?

“Hey, I saw you from the gym. What are you doing there?”

Turning my head, I saw Aaron in his workout clothes. He was sweating a lot. An Idea just came into my mind, “Does the gym have a ring?”

“Yeah, for the practice run, why do you ask?” He was asking me, but probably already knew the answer himself.

“Let me change my clothes, and we can go there together.” I said to him, and immediately running to the house.

Ten minutes later, I was already inside the gym, which is actually located in the south dungeon, just one floor above the jail. People were watching, even whispering, probably thinking why I was here in the gym, with a workout clothes.
