On that calm morning when Luke was just done drinking his suppressant at the kitchen when he noticed a small note on top of the dining table. Walking over to see that his younger twin brother had a sudden photoshoot that day and had to leave at dawn with his manager.
He then went back to his room and hid his suppressant before tidying his not-so messy room. A few minutes had passed, Luke then went to the other room while carrying all his dirty bed sheets and saw the overflowing in the basket.
Decided to do all the laundry but he needed to segregate the white ones from the colored ones before shoving it in the washing machine.
Not wanting to
The commotion at the hotel did not bother the director and all the employees in that photoshoot. As they walked away from the door, connecting to the main hotel building. However, Leo’s widened eyes and stilled and tensed body as he was processing if what he heard was real or not. “Leo?” “Are you okay, Leo?” The stylist and makeup artists simultaneously asked when they were fixing his clothes, makeup and hair but he seriously and abruptly shushed them with his pointing finger to his lips.
The soft whimpers and subtle shifting within Leo’s arms made the alpha wake up and witnessed firsthand the disaster of their all night long mating. The torn pieces of clothes on the floor, the broken vase, the claw marks on the walls, and the altered furniture – chairs, coffee table, and the long wooden cabinet under the broken flat screen tv. Hissing on the sudden pain on his back, arms, and chest. To only see the fresh red nail marks dug deep into his skin. His eyes return to the human beside him, with his back facing him and his showcasing his hickey-filled back, neck, and shoulders. However, the one that stayed longer in hi
All he saw were darkness and void filled with cold and ear-piercing quietness with no end. Crouching, covering his ear while constantly searching for a light and when he wants to talk, no voice will come out. Fear creeped into him as he could not ask for help. The time he stood up and walked away, he stumbled by the chain on his arms and ankles. For the first time, he heard the rattling of it. Relieved by the fading ear-piercing silence but frightened when the chains were pulling him into the abyss. Hands covering his mouth when he tried to shout, his nose then his eyes that his tears float upwards as if he was sinking in water. Down to his arms extending upw
Hesitating to drink his suppressant that day but he does not have any other choice. High noon, carrying his bag and running his way to the train station. The sweat drips from his forehead and his hair dances with the wind that comes his way. Luke is staying away from the crowded area of the station, particularly in the train platform, with other passengers. Leaning beside the column and pushing himself there. Focusing on his phone and constantly watching his phone to check the time. ‘Twelve nineteen. Then, I will arrive at school around twelve thirty.’ He thought. The usual routine took another route when Luke rented a bike and cycled
In his dim lighted room, Father Federick is concentrating on writing something on a brownish old paper with his personal quill. Hovering over the desk as his left arm is supporting his body while his other hand is busy scribbling then dipping it to the ink before continuing. “Shhh. Quiet. I’m concentrating.” Shushing while tilting his head to the right and glancing on his left then gritting his teeth. Focusing back to the paper below him and letting his thoughts flow when writing everything down. ‘– have been inefficient with my job as my health is deteriorating due to lesser exercise from hiking to the mountain and fewer holy pilgrimage within the last month. I will use my week-long leave sanction, if possible, during next week to improve –’ The old man thought and his hands were keeping up with his mind’s pace. “To improve my what?” He anxiously asked and the apparition beside him, went closer to his ears
The front door swung wide open when a shrieking rubber sound and he leaned on the door frame. Watching the person walk down from the bus along with his bag and his heart sank when he saw him limping on the way to the door. Luke is evading his eyes when entering the front door but Leo is observing him. Closing the door behind him and sneakingly sniffing him. ‘There’s a vague scent of chemicals but it is overpowered with earth scent when it rains. Refreshing and cool.’ He thought while processing the scent he was getting. &
Walking side by side on the way to the bus station towards school after riding the early ride on the train station. Not wanting his mate to be out of his sight and be somewhere he does not know. Leo is getting uneasy as the days pass by so quickly like a blink of an eye. Particularly to when they get to their destination, their school. Where other alphas are around and Leo is getting antsy about other scents sticking all over his omega’s body. Hiking up the hill, the alpha gently set Luke to the safe side of the road by his waist. “Be careful.”
Applying a cream around her bruise on the arm after the rough evening last night when the Blood moon rose high and spread unexplainable lust, unfillable cravings, and unreachable strength flowing within her. Niki hissed at the pain and panting as her fever is not decreasing but the other way around. Her body is getting sluggish and heavier by the second as she tries to support herself. “I shouldn’t have drunk suppressant this morning.” She instantly regrets as she dazely utters when glancing at the empty drinking glass at the side drawer. ‘I should have followed their instructions but I’m not the kind who follows unless being forced to.’ She thought while tsk-ing to herself. The escalating pain from every touch of her bruise is nothing, compared to the emotional suffering she is feeling at the moment. The longing she has for the only person she has her eyes on and her heart beating for. Almost a month of layi
The sudden death of Mika causes a downpour of sadness, tears, and condolences from the people that know the family – even from the mainland. The usual bright, noisy and peaceful mornings the Sager had has disappeared on the drain. Kate and Kaye refused to go to school to mourn with their parents and to be with them, together as a family. The small fragile hands are gently rubbing their parents’ back then to their shoulders with a squeeze before embracing them. The pair decided to close their restaurant for the time being while they grieve and try to put up a strong face when remembering the brief moments they had with their mother.
Two, four, six, eight, ten years pass by and the pups are now in their early teens, getting ready for their secondary gender test in their school with the guidance of their teachers, nurses and doctors. Those years were not easy for everyone, especially to Leo and Luke, from sleepless nights, some uncertain days, the unstable emotions from stress and from balancing their daily lives with their kids and restaurant. “It is a peaceful morning, isn’t it?” Sipping their coffee at the first floor while looking out the window and how the chirping of the birds subtly fading and getting further away. The soothing washing of the waves to the shores and the giggles of their daughters upstairs. Leo hums but giggles as he glances up the ceiling. “Except for that one.” “Well, they are almost done and within five minutes, they will be running down. So, let’s start preparing their breakfast and lunch boxes.”
A new day has arrived and every single employee in the Full Moon Organization is doing their respective job, diligently. When Mika enters the office of Jessica Ether, she finds her reading while pacing back and forth in front of her desk. Despite the door creaking, the representative seems so absorbed by her activity that she did not notice her assistant entering. Mika sees the books stocked up on the desk with no space to put anything on. So, she turns a blind eye and just does her job. “Representative?” No answer and continue to read. “Representative?” Still no answer until the older woman inhales deeply. “Representative Jessica Ether!” Raising her voice higher than what the other person has heard from her. Startles from it and closes the same looking journal on her hand. “Good morning, representative. At nine in the morning, you will have a meeting with the other depa
A short slender woman enters the room filled with piled up boxes behind the desk, with a food tray in one hand while documents on the other. Wriggling her nose, unable to keep her eyes straight when those objects are distracting her. ‘The itch won’t disappear –’ Mika subtly rubs her nose. ‘– Since those things appeared.’ Glancing over those clutter behind the representative’s desk. “Here it is, Miss Ether.” Placing the folder near the center then the food tray beside it. Standing, waiting for the following instructions to be giv
A few men in black and white suits are walking out of the abandoned house with boxes on their arms when Leo was being called out by one of them to meet the representative. His eyes follow each of them out the house until the road downtown. Step by step, tracks left behind while his hands in his pockets with an unreadable expression on his face. Walking at a normal pace but seems slower than expected. Sighing as the night is greeting earlier than he wanted. The same feelings as that night slowly dawns at him but he looks away from the house when he gets closer. His sight only sees the mountains when refusing to glance at the ocean on the other side and the rep
A year and a half has flown by and Luke realizes he created a few menus on his sleeves while utilizing the limited resources they have at the island. The once crawling pups are now walking around the house but wobbling while leaning on everything for support. Little by little, he becomes aware of what he wants in the future, thinking of what makes him happy and at the same time, earning a bit while staying at home to look after his beautiful daughters. One morning when Leo and Luke are seated across from each other while having their coffee. “What do you think of opening a restaurant here?”
Three days have passed since the birth of Leo and Luke’s twins and they have less sleep as the nights end. The pair is on the bed while the pups are on the crib side by side and kicking each other’s faces for space. When they arrived at the hospital the day after the omega’s labor, the nurse assisted the young mates to register their pups and see Luke’s condition. “Mister Luke Sager’s condition is better than what we expected as the wound healed faster and steadily. Now, the names of the pups are Kate and Kaye Sager.” The nurse lo
The silence within Jessica’s office as she thinks of the witness’ whereabouts and how he or she disappeared without any traces. Recalling the testimony of the soldier who gave her the message of that incident could not remember where he last saw that person or whether it was a man or a woman. All he remembers were chasing a car and being cornered and beat up by humans. Constant inquiries and little chit chat with the elders pressure her as she could remember the previous blood moon accident where a young boy saw his parents get killed by a pack. They could not even finish the job of hunting him down and eradicate the child. Letting him be wit
An old man was walking along the dirt road towards the town of the Cursed Island after he was dropped off, more like being pushed out by a shabby boat from the black market’s dock. Pissed off of how he was treated by that woman captain – ‘She’ll get a piece of me someday.’ Federick thought when a moment later, the boat further on the shore were drowning and the workers were shouting for help. The strong wind blew by the old man and he smiled with all of those shouting, clenching the cloth in his hand. “Good work.”
