Cedrick nibbled on her earlobe and breathed heavily. The year was almost over, so the company was busy, and his poison needed to be suppressed with Evelyn's acupuncture. All told, it had been over half a month since he'd last seen Catelyn.

Hearing his steady heartbeat, Catelyn pushed him away and wrapped her arms around his waist, greedily sniffing his scent.
