As the woman in front of her made threatening gestures, Catelyn only felt funny. But she didn't stoop down to argue with Evelyn. Instead, she turned to leave.

Evelyn sneered and extended her foot in front of Catelyn, waiting for the latter to make a fool of herself in front of everyone.

"Mommy!" Miles exclaimed from behind her.

Evelyn's petty trick didn't escape her eyes. Remaining calm, Catelyn pretended to fall and took the chance to throw her wine at Evelyn.

The crimson liquid dripped down, staining Evelyn's white dress and clinging to her skin.

Evelyn brushed her wet hair, trembling and glaring at Catelyn. "How dare you pour wine on me!"

In a fit of anger, she swung her arm to slap Catelyn, but before her hand could fall, Cedrick grabbed her wrist so heavily that her bones nearly crumbled.
