Hello readers. I hope you are enjoying this book. I am planning to finish this book by the end of the month. (By the end of March 2023 or by the 10th of April 2023. Depending on my commitments and Physio appointments.) Yes, the journey of Justin and Ashley is about to end. :-( After this, I plan to start a new book about Rowan Levisay and Sophia Wyatt. Both are the characters from my previous book, Oops I Married A CEO By Mistake. If you want you can read the book, but this Sophia/ Rowan book can also be read as a stand-alone novel. However, instead of starting a new book all over, I will add its chapters HERE. Once I will write the Epilogue of this book (Ouch! My CEO Fiance Fell For His Maid) after that I will take a rest for a few days and then will start writing the additional chapters. For those who want to stop at the Epilogue, is completely fine with me. :-) Thank you for staying with me and for encouraging me at every step and every chapter. Please keep in mind that I read
Ashley Walters povThe elderly woman was still the same. Except, she was no more wearing the maid uniform. Her white hair was still tied back in a bun. One or two more wrinkles had appeared on her face, but she still was the same. Her posture was straight, at least better than mine, her chin was up and that might be the reason she still didn’t have a double chin.“Hello, Ms. Walters.” She said with a cordial smile. Unexpectedly Edith didn’t take time and brought her to me within one hour, “I have heard you want to talk to me?”They both took their seats before us.“Please answer whatever she wants to know.” Said Justin sitting beside me. All this time, his hand never left mine, “Also she is NOT Ms. Walters. You can call her Mrs. Deluca.”The way Justin told her, made my heart flutter in my chest. A smile started teasing the corner of my mouth.“Oh,” she nodded in understanding, “I am sorry, Mrs. Deluca,” my heart was racing by now. A person calling me Mrs. Deluca was something I never
“You are unusually quiet, kitten.” I heard Justin’s low whisper beside me. We came late after wandering around outside and now we were having a scrumptious dinner that Edith made for us.“Nothing,” I tried to smile and placed a bread piece on his plate, “I have got a busy week ahead, but I need to talk to Sarah too.”I shared my concern at hand and placed my fork down.“Then what’s the problem?” he asked me and offered me a cucumber piece that I immediately accepted and opened my mouth.I chewed it and gobbled it down with my diet coke.“Time is the real issue. I can’t expect her to come over just to give me explanations. Secondly, Helga said the suitcase might either be with Sarah or it might still be lying in that storeroom. If it’s there I need to check it.”“Kitten, listen to me. One problem at a time. Please. Just focus on your presentation. I can take you to the mansion in the evenings and bring you back before midnight.”I looked at him with a frown, “You will do that for me, J
Ashley Walters povTechnically Aniya had the biggest bed among us. But I preferred to spend the night on MY bed.Aniya poked an elbow in my tummy when she thought no one was watching, “Hmm. Small bed!” She wiggled her brows, “so that you can stay closer to him. Ooh… glued to him.” She winked cockily and I had to control the smile that was not leaving my lips. All I could do was kick her leg under the table. After Eve served us beer cans we chatted until I could no longer stop yawning. Without waiting for a minute, Justin got to his feet and pulled me up.“It’s time to go to bed, kitten.” He circled his arm around me.“He is right,” Eve nodded, “Good night, Ash. Good night, Justin.”“Night!” we responded to her.Once inside the bedroom, I looked at my not too small but not too spacious enough bed that could hardly accommodate Justin and me.Unless we would decide to snuggle.I heard him sighing beside me, “I can use the couch, love. Don’t worry.”“No, no. You can use the bed and I can…
Justin’s povThe moment I killed the engine inside the reserved and VIP parking of Arguli University, she looked at me happily.“I …” She said with an uncertain smile and stuttered, tugging her hair behind her ear, “I think … I will miss you.” She finished with a shy smile.“And I am sure, I will miss you too, love,” I said appreciating her timid smile that was tugging the corner of her lips. She chuckled and looked outside.Just then an idea popped into my mind to mess with her, “Are you sure you want to attend the classes? Because if you have changed your mind, I can take you somewhere and we can …”“What? No!” she shook her head, horrified at the notion, “Actually, Justin … I don’t know. Here most of the students know me. Like I am not even aware of what they will think if they find me coming out of your car.”I ducked down my head and ran a quick gaze, “I doubt that, Kitten. Almost no one is here for the time being.” I turned to look at her beautiful face, “You are safe to go. All
I clearly underestimated my boyfriend and my husband. Despite such a serious issue, they both were engaged in a staring contest now. None of them wanted to back off.“Ok, guys,” I clapped to get their attention, “Can we sort it out like adults please?”“There is nothing to sort it. You are my wife!” Justin said not moving an inch.“Exactly, Mr. Deluca.” Gerald was proving to be a true friend, “She might be your wife. I might be her boyfriend. But I am not leaving her side unless she asks me to do so.”Now their eyes were on me.“Ashley. You should tell him that we are still married!” Justin said without even bothering to look at me.“I will, Justin.” I said and earned an affectionate smile from him until I finish it off, “I will exactly do that if you can give us some space… Some privacy.”He frowned and looked at me, “It shouldn’t take that long to tell him that …”“Justin!” I forced some warning vibes into my voice, “Can you please wait outside? I need to talk to Gerald.”Justin kep
Ashley’s pov: The first message from Justin: “Hello, love. Hope you keep your bag ready for the mansion visit that is due this evening.” The phone pinged again and there was a second message from him: “Oh, and one more thing. I love you. (A kissing emoji) A smile made its way to my lips when I read his message on my phone. The professor who was sitting in his seat and was waiting for us to finish our class assignment gave that look full of warning. “Sorry,” I mouthed and resumed writing the fu*cking note on the importance of color schemes in an interior, that I had the least interest in. The whole class was busy writing, God knows what. Then something clicked my mind, I smiled and started writing… [Not enough ideas? Fall in love. You want to bring colors to your interior? Fall in love. Because love is something that will change the perception of everything in your life. Whether it’s your profession, home, or your color scheme.] I kept writing until my fingers ached. After
Ashley Walters pov“You are silly, Justin. I don’t know why Sarah had to bring me here. Please take me home.” Granny was continuously whining like a toddler and Justin was trying to make her calm like a mommy. It was heartwarming to witness the chemistry. “Yes, we would granny. Soon!” He said hugging her fragile body to himself. Sarah was standing in the corner with arms folded on her chest. She looked annoyed and tired and very much pregnant.I didn’t see her after that night when I barged into her engagement party.“That’s what I am telling her.” She complained and started making a messy bun of her dark blond hair at the top.“No! You didn’t tell me anything, Sarah!” Granny complained again to Justin, “she said we are only going for a brief visit. For a short checkup.” The way that old cow … I mean Mrs. Deluca was complaining, “And here the visit turned into this annoying hospital admission.”I didn’t want to admit but Mrs. Deluca looked kind of cute. Justin kept cooing at her. She

Sophia’s pov: Colter was smart, intelligent, and the school’s soccer team captain. For every girl, he was an ideal. But he chose me as his girlfriend. We were good initially but then he started showing his true colors. “Your cousin is a creep, Sophie. He keeps staring at you. The little boy can’t control his urges,” he used to make fun of Rowan and I never liked it. “He is NOT my cousin, Colt.” I used to defend Rowan and that used to annoy him even more. “Yeah. Whatever. He is younger, Sophie. Just a kid! Don’t ever forget that. Trust me! Nobody wants to date a baby.” His remark tugged my heartstrings that day. Every other day he used to get aggressive and used to remind me that Rowan was just a mere kid. Most of the time his aggression used to be due to Rowan. He disliked it when Rowan used to sit right opposite our place in the cafeteria. He easily could get offended if he would find Rowan, visiting my place. I tried convincing him that Rowan was a family friend but failed.
Rowan’s pov:The girl in my arms was sleeping soundly. She was making me feel like my arms were the best place where she could get that deep sleep. She was making me feel like I was a safe haven for her. That fuc*ker Colter tried to take away her spirit. Her soul. But she did it. She defeated him. The day she called me for help, I knew how much courage she must have gathered to do it. To type that single message. That single word.“Rowan!” she murmured in her sleep and stirred in my arms.“Go to sleep, Sophie. You are safe.” I said and closed my eyes but the she-devil close to me, kept rubbing herself against me intimately.“Soph!” I whispered and she made a pout in her sleep and opened her sleep-filled hooded eyes to look at me, “Go to sleep, love.”I tried to control my desire shooting up by her touch. She shook her head and started rubbing her cheek against my chest skin.“You smell amazing, Rowan.” She started kissing my chest and then climbed up to bring her face close to mine, “
Rowan Levisay pov I looked down at the delicate girl in my arms who, very slowly, was now getting closer to me. She already lived in my heart and had, at last, started seeing me. The only difference was, she spotted me after twenty-five goddamn years. And I noticed her when I was just two. She used to sit cozily in bed with my sisters. I could hear their giggling sounds in my cot and always wanted to get down so that I could join the fun. Sometimes, Mom used to allow me to go to them. They used to cuddle me in between and all I wanted at that time was to sit beside my girl. She used to get irritated by my presence, and how I used to cling to her, stare at her. “Mom! I think she doesn’t like me.” While growing up, the four years old me, asked my mom. She smiled and made me sit on her lap. “She might see you if you stop clinging to her. Nobody likes that, Rowan. Everyone loves to have some space, son.” In my teenage years, I could never make a steady girlfriend. Because they all u
Sophia’s pov. Restless, I continued to toss and turn in my bed, the weight of my past worries pressing heavily upon my chest. The hushed murmurs drifting up from downstairs did confirm what I already knew. My parents were still awake and their concern for me was refusing to let them succumb to sleep. Normally, my parents were early sleepers, but tonight was different. Tonight, their parental instincts were on high alert, their worry for me was palpable in the air. Ever since I could remember, they were protective of me and had shielded me from harm, nurtured me with unwavering love and care. As my adoptive parents, they made me and Jackson their utmost priority. They never let us feel that I was adopted and that Jackson was their own blood. As the minutes ticked by, I couldn't help but reflect on the countless times they had been my pillars of strength. They had been my unwavering support, always there to lend a hand or offer to just listen to me. To make me feel heard. And now,
Emerald's pov: The weight of her words settled upon us like a heavy burden, each of us grappling with our own emotions. But at that moment, amidst the chaos of thoughts and feelings, one thing was clear — Sophie had endured some kind of ordeal. Something that was beyond our thoughts, and we had to listen, support, and help her find solace in our embrace. “Talk to us, love.” Rafael encouraged her to speak, “What is it? What did Colt do to you?” his voice seemed tense. “If I will tell you then would you believe me?” She asked Rafael innocently. Like a baby. Gosh! I wanted to cry. I could not wait to be alone and cry in my husband’s arms. But right now, we both needed to stay strong. “Yes, we will.” Abigail spoke with determination, “You are our kid. Why won’t we trust you?” The moment Abigail said that Sophia started crying. Her tears started slipping down her smooth cheeks. “Sophie?” Rafael and I both called her name. We both were shocked. “Mom! Dad! The one month I was with him
Emerald's pov:Sophia was trembling while taking hesitant steps forward. She looked exhausted as if she had been through an ordeal that no words could adequately describe. The room remained silent, each of us holding our breath, waiting for her to speak.I saw Hunter gesturing for his investigators to leave the room without a sound. Finally, Sophia’s voice broke the silence, which was weak yet determined. "I... I'm sorry. I never meant to cause you all this worry. It's... it's complicated. I'll explain, I promise."Rafael and I exchanged glances, a mix of relief and concern etched on our faces. We moved closer to Sophia, enveloping her in a gentle embrace, offering comfort and reassurance. The room slowly came alive with a mixture of relief, confusion, and a silent desire for answers.Hunter, his voice laced with a mix of relief and urgency, stepped forward. "Sophie, we've been searching for you. Where have you been? Are you alright?"Sophia took a deep breath, her eyes darting around
Emerald Wyatt pov: (Sophia’s foster mom)“Emerald. Stop crying.” Abigail Levisay hugged me tightly, “Hunter has called Rowan and he will be here any minute. We will find Sophie. Don’t lose hope.”Tears were streaming down my face. I was sitting on the armchair, clutching a tissue in my trembling hands. Abigail Levisay … my compassionate friend and Rowan’s mom was kneeling beside me, offering comfort.I was sobbing uncontrollably, struggling to compose myself.“I can't help it, Abigail. I'm so scared for Sophie. It's been two days, and we still have no idea where she could be. And now with Colter found dead ... What if something terrible has happened to my daughter too?”Abigail wrapped her arms around me, holding me tightly. She shushed me gently, “I know, darling. It's an incredibly distressing situation, but we have to stay strong. We can't lose hope. Hunter has called Rowan, and he's on his way here. Rowan has connections. Along with Hunter, he can locate Sophie. We're going to fin
Sophia pov:Without another word, he started rubbing my back with soapy hands. Placing my palms on the bathroom walls, I closed my eyes feeling his touch on my body and then my hair with a whiff of my shampoo. He opened the shower and started washing the sand off my hair. I held my breath when I felt his hands unusually lingering on my bre*asts.“May I?” I asked him, offering him the same comfort. He slowly shook his head and wrapped a bathrobe around me.“I can’t risk that, Sophie.” He draped a towel around my hair like a turban. He was still wearing his costume while I was there without a piece of clothing, “I can take my shower later.”True to his word, he didn’t even bat an eye on my nak*edness.“I promise, I would be decent enough not to sed*uce you,” I said mischievously making him chuckle.“And do you think that would make me happy, princess?” he placed his palms on either side of me on the walls of the bathroom behind me,His eyes were searching mine with a mixture of seriousn
