Sophia’s pov:

Colter was smart, intelligent, and the school’s soccer team captain. For every girl, he was an ideal. But he chose me as his girlfriend.

We were good initially but then he started showing his true colors.

“Your cousin is a creep, Sophie. He keeps staring at you. The little boy can’t control his urges,” he used to make fun of Rowan and I never liked it.

“He is NOT my cousin, Colt.” I used to defend Rowan and that used to annoy him even more.

“Yeah. Whatever. He is younger, Sophie. Just a kid! Don’t ever forget that. Trust me! Nobody wants to date a baby.”

His remark tugged my heartstrings that day. Every other day he used to get aggressive and used to remind me that Rowan was just a mere kid. Most of the time his aggression used to be due to Rowan.

He disliked it when Rowan used to sit right opposite our place in the cafeteria. He easily could get offended if he would find Rowan, visiting my place.

I tried convincing him that Rowan was a family friend but failed.

  • Ouch! My CEO Fiancé Fell For His Maid.    1- Absurd Conditions

Ashley Walter's pov:"You will NOT show your face to your husband. Agreed?" She asked me in a stern voice."Yes, Ma'am," I muttered under my breath."I can't hear you, girl. Louder!" Her voice turned harsher."YES, MA’AM," I screamed."You are not allowed to sleep beside your husband in the bed. You will use the mattress in the corner of that bedroom. On the floor. Agreed?""YES, MA’AM!" I yelled again."He usually doesn't spend his time in his room but once he will be back, you are not allowed to talk to him, not allowed to walk, eat or drink in that room. You are not allowed to use the bathroom. Agreed?"Now that was too much. I lifted my veil to have a look at this old goat's face who was getting me married to her grandson for ten million dollars. Where was I supposed to pee? On carpet?"I can't hear you, girl. Do you want money or not?" She screeched in my ear making them ring.Urgh!I did want that money. It could solve my problems. I could get Mother Superior treated for cancer.

  • Ouch! My CEO Fiancé Fell For His Maid.    2- Not Beautiful

Justin De Luca's pov:The way she fell on her mattress made me smile. Taking off my shirt I turned a little when I felt her eyes on my back. Her face was hidden by her palms and her eyes were squeezed shut.Didn't somebody tell her that shutting your eyes doesn't make you invisible?Well. I think granny did a great job in training her. After a shower, I put on a t-shirt paired with denim and went out of the room without glancing in that corner where my so-called wife was resting.... or should I say hiding?"Here comes the groom, man. Congratulations! Liked your wife?" Sean never failed to irritate me."Shut up! She is NOT my wife." I snapped at him."Justin. Ignore them. You tell me. Did you feel that someone else is living in your room? If she did anything to make a pass at you I swear I will slit her throat." My granny was always this sassy."No, granny. To tell the truth, she is trained well. Thanks!" I kissed her cheek."Is she beautiful?" I heard my cousin Sean's dreamy voice and

Ashley Walters pov:Despite so many requests, nobody bothered to send me my bag. I was still wearing the same dress that was emitting a sweaty stench.Yuck! It had been three days since my wedding. I still hadn't seen the handsome guy's face and I was hell curious. That naked delicious back still popped up in my mind when I was doing nothing. That is for most of the day. Today I took a shower and washed my clothes with that gent's body wash.Did I have a choice? My husband seldom came to his room. Last night he did sleep in his bed and I held my pee waiting for him to go to sleep.Thank God he didn't take long. The maid who used to clean his room and used to bring my three meals to the room was now getting a little bit friendly.Though I was not allowed to interact with anyone but staying the whole day in a room, waiting for the meals where I was not allowed to even watch TV. This absurd routine had started taking a toll on me.This afternoon I opened the door just a tiny bit and peek

  • Ouch! My CEO Fiancé Fell For His Maid.    4- My Husband Tried To...

Justin's pov"Hello, Sarah. How is the tour going?" I asked Sarah leaning back my head on the recliner."Oh, Justin. I can't tell you how refreshing it is. I planned initially to run away because of your wedding. But it proved to be a mind booster and refresher." I could feel her munching something.“Sarah!" My mood drastically changed due to the reminder that I had to marry against my will, "You and granny wanted it. I did it for you. And now you are playing this blame card as I cheated on you."This was not fair to me. It was initially granny's wish and Sarah favored her.I knew she loved me but I was getting tired of this blame game now.The only conditions I put forward were not to see her face and no interference in my life from her side.No friendship no communication. That was the reason the girl was getting such a big amount. Granny wanted to pay her one million but I knew it was not an easy task to cut yourself from the outside world for one year."Hey. I am sorry babe. I jus

Sarah’s pov:Justin was my fiancé. Hot-headed. Drop dead gorgeous. He was never expressive. Eh! Except when he was angry. He smiled rarely. My friends thought he was madly in love with me and that was true.He fulfilled all my demands and used to spoil me like anything. He never raised his voice at me. My friends used to envy me. They could not wait to get a chance to take my place. To grab my fiancé.I got him married because of a harmless dare. Granny was involved in it. Justin gave in to my demands after a lot of persuasion. Now don’t take me wrong. There was more about this marriage than a simple dare. I could not afford to lose him. He got mad at me when I asked him a simple question about his wife.Oh, sorry. About his maid. Yes. She was not his wife. She could never be his wife. She was a plain maid.I was the one, he was supposed to marry. I was the one who deserved to be his wife. Who deserved to be the daughter-in-law of De Luca family.THE De Luca family!Justin’s pov:"M..

  • Ouch! My CEO Fiancé Fell For His Maid.    6- The gorgeous man

Ashley povUgh! I tried to stretch myself. The mattress assigned to me was not comfortable but today it felt like a hardboard. And that hardboard was snoring slightly. I felt so tired that I did not want to get up. There was nothing to do. Nobody was waiting for me. What’s the use of waking up when I would be getting bored? Or maybe I should pop in some sleeping pills and spend one year sleeping on a couch or my mattress like a dead.My cheek hurt due to resting on the hardboard so I decided to change the side and lifted my face up. I saw a man sleeping on his back under me. Taking a deep breath, I closed my eyes and rested the other cheek. Just then my eyes went wide.I was NOT sleeping on my mattress. I lifted my face again and looked up.Shit!Who was he? He was not my husband but whoever he was, the man was drop-dead gorgeous. How can a man have such long lashes? Look at those lips. Damn!If it was a sin to look this handsome, he should have been hanged publicly. His face was so …

Rowan’s pov:The girl in my arms was sleeping soundly. She was making me feel like my arms were the best place where she could get that deep sleep. She was making me feel like I was a safe haven for her. That fuc*ker Colter tried to take away her spirit. Her soul. But she did it. She defeated him. The day she called me for help, I knew how much courage she must have gathered to do it. To type that single message. That single word.“Rowan!” she murmured in her sleep and stirred in my arms.“Go to sleep, Sophie. You are safe.” I said and closed my eyes but the she-devil close to me, kept rubbing herself against me intimately.“Soph!” I whispered and she made a pout in her sleep and opened her sleep-filled hooded eyes to look at me, “Go to sleep, love.”I tried to control my desire shooting up by her touch. She shook her head and started rubbing her cheek against my chest skin.“You smell amazing, Rowan.” She started kissing my chest and then climbed up to bring her face close to mine, “

  • Ouch! My CEO Fiancé Fell For His Maid.    20- Help! (Book 3)

Rowan Levisay pov I looked down at the delicate girl in my arms who, very slowly, was now getting closer to me. She already lived in my heart and had, at last, started seeing me. The only difference was, she spotted me after twenty-five goddamn years. And I noticed her when I was just two. She used to sit cozily in bed with my sisters. I could hear their giggling sounds in my cot and always wanted to get down so that I could join the fun. Sometimes, Mom used to allow me to go to them. They used to cuddle me in between and all I wanted at that time was to sit beside my girl. She used to get irritated by my presence, and how I used to cling to her, stare at her. “Mom! I think she doesn’t like me.” While growing up, the four years old me, asked my mom. She smiled and made me sit on her lap. “She might see you if you stop clinging to her. Nobody likes that, Rowan. Everyone loves to have some space, son.” In my teenage years, I could never make a steady girlfriend. Because they all u

Sophia’s pov. Restless, I continued to toss and turn in my bed, the weight of my past worries pressing heavily upon my chest. The hushed murmurs drifting up from downstairs did confirm what I already knew. My parents were still awake and their concern for me was refusing to let them succumb to sleep. Normally, my parents were early sleepers, but tonight was different. Tonight, their parental instincts were on high alert, their worry for me was palpable in the air. Ever since I could remember, they were protective of me and had shielded me from harm, nurtured me with unwavering love and care. As my adoptive parents, they made me and Jackson their utmost priority. They never let us feel that I was adopted and that Jackson was their own blood. As the minutes ticked by, I couldn't help but reflect on the countless times they had been my pillars of strength. They had been my unwavering support, always there to lend a hand or offer to just listen to me. To make me feel heard. And now,

Emerald's pov: The weight of her words settled upon us like a heavy burden, each of us grappling with our own emotions. But at that moment, amidst the chaos of thoughts and feelings, one thing was clear — Sophie had endured some kind of ordeal. Something that was beyond our thoughts, and we had to listen, support, and help her find solace in our embrace. “Talk to us, love.” Rafael encouraged her to speak, “What is it? What did Colt do to you?” his voice seemed tense. “If I will tell you then would you believe me?” She asked Rafael innocently. Like a baby. Gosh! I wanted to cry. I could not wait to be alone and cry in my husband’s arms. But right now, we both needed to stay strong. “Yes, we will.” Abigail spoke with determination, “You are our kid. Why won’t we trust you?” The moment Abigail said that Sophia started crying. Her tears started slipping down her smooth cheeks. “Sophie?” Rafael and I both called her name. We both were shocked. “Mom! Dad! The one month I was with him

Emerald's pov:Sophia was trembling while taking hesitant steps forward. She looked exhausted as if she had been through an ordeal that no words could adequately describe. The room remained silent, each of us holding our breath, waiting for her to speak.I saw Hunter gesturing for his investigators to leave the room without a sound. Finally, Sophia’s voice broke the silence, which was weak yet determined. "I... I'm sorry. I never meant to cause you all this worry. It's... it's complicated. I'll explain, I promise."Rafael and I exchanged glances, a mix of relief and concern etched on our faces. We moved closer to Sophia, enveloping her in a gentle embrace, offering comfort and reassurance. The room slowly came alive with a mixture of relief, confusion, and a silent desire for answers.Hunter, his voice laced with a mix of relief and urgency, stepped forward. "Sophie, we've been searching for you. Where have you been? Are you alright?"Sophia took a deep breath, her eyes darting around

Abigail Levisay … my compassionate friend and Rowan’s mom was kneeling beside me, offering comfort.I was sobbing uncontrollably, struggling to compose myself.“I can't help it, Abigail. I'm so scared for Sophie. It's been two days, and we still have no idea where she could be. And now with Colter found dead ... What if something terrible has happened to my daughter too?”Abigail wrapped her arms around me, holding me tightly. She shushed me gently, “I know, darling. I held my breath when I felt his hands unusually lingering on my bre*asts.“May I?” I asked him, offering him the same comfort. He slowly shook his head and wrapped a bathrobe around me.“I can’t risk that, Sophie.” He draped a towel around my hair like a turban.
