Talia’s Pov

I was left alone in Rhys’s room with an instruction from Mara to leave, due to my mischievous behaviour. I had no choice than to leave since she let me in, in the first place.

I left Rhys room and went to mine to pack up my few things.

The thought of the revelation of the actually truth, the truth to my lies, and manipulations on Rhys lingered.

I packed my bags with shaking hands, my mind reeling from the confrontation with mara and Rhys.

‘How had everything fallen apart?’ I thought.

I thought I had controlled the situation, I’ve successfully manipulated them from the start and so I’ll till the end. But Mara had seen through my lies.

And Rhys…..Rhys had chosen Mara over me. And now that the truth was revealed, the chances of me winning Rhys’s love and attention back was impossible.

I zipped up my luggage, tears gathering at the corners of my eyes.
