Mitch
I was sitting in my office with Noah, Oliver, and Jax. Ben has been working on tracking Liam’s phone, but it was showing up at his apartment. I sent a few guys to the city to investigate. They found the phone in his safe, but everything else had been taken out. Ben also pulled the call logs on Ophelia’s phone to figure out how this happened. He found a number that had called her for the first time a few days ago. There was a text sent from Ophelia’s phone and another call the morning they took her. Ben started a trace on the number that called her, but nothing had popped up yet. Apparently, the phone was either turned off or dead.
From the looks of it right now, Liam had called Ophelia from another number. God only knows what he told her to make her believe him. I would have to wait till Damian got here to find out more information about what happened. I kept watching my phone, expecting a me
Ophelia When I woke up, I instantly felt the worst headache I’d ever had. As I observed my surroundings and the room I was in, realizing I have no idea where I was. The room was beautiful though, it was painted light grey and had white and grey marble floors. There was decorative trim all around the room. The vaulted ceiling held a beautiful chandelier in the center. I got down out of bed and went to the door. I turned the doorknob, but it was locked from the outside. I began pounding on the door, hoping that someone would hear and open it. “HELLO!” “LET ME OUT!” “PLEASE! SOMEONE LET ME OUT!” I cried. When no one answered my cries, I went over to the window and pushed the curtains back. I gasped when I saw all the snow that covered the ground. I tried to open the window, but it was locked also.Where the hell am I?
OpheliaI woke up to a knock at the door. It unlocked and Lana walked in holding a white tray. “Good morning Ophelia.” she smiled, walking over to the bed. “Good morning Lana.” As she set the tray on the table, I got out of bed and walked over to take a seat in the chair.“This looks good. What is it?” “This is fried eggs with kielbasa topped with dill. You also have blinis with mixed fruit jam. And you also have black tea.” “Is there any coffee?” “No ma’am,” she said, shaking her head. “Well damn.” “If you would like I can tell them that you requested coffee.” “No. It’s okay. I’ll make do without my coffee.”&
MitchJavier and I have been talking trying to figure out how to get someone into Russia. There’s a knock at my office door, “Come in,”Anderson, one of my security guys walked into my office, “Boss, could I speak to you for a moment?” “Yeah. What’s going on?” “I reached out to an old colleague of mine. He’s been in Russia for a few years. He got stuck there after Blackhorse was exposed.” he said, taking a seat in the chair across from my desk. “What’s Blackhorse?” “Blackhorse was a deep ops organization, operating in Russia, gathering intel on the Bratva. But they also operated in other parts of the world. It was their job to infiltrate organizations and assassinate certain leaders. There were some concerns about the way they operated, and everything was expose
Mitch One of the problems with isolating Russia the way that I have, is now I can’t get into Russia when I need to. The Bratva ran the whole damn thing. They’re everywhere. We would not be able to land a plane or drive into Russia without them knowing. The same way I control the states is the same way Ivankov controls Russia. No outside rival could get into the country without them knowing. Which now explains why Ivankov was working with Liam. He needed Liam to get his guys into the states to take Ophelia without me knowing. Unfortunately, Liam knew all too well how to get in and out of the country. But what’s done is done. I’ve gathered all the men in the conference room and we’re going over possible ways to get into Russia. Which is proving almost impossible. As soon as one of them comes up with an idea, someone else points out the flaws to that plan. I’m sitting her
Damian When I left the conference room, Mitch’s words made me think. I had been stuck in this negative mindsetlong enough. It was time to get my mind right. I always like going to the range when my thoughts won’t settle, so that’s what I’ll do. Going into the garage, I went down to the weapons vault and pulled out a few of my guns then loaded them up in my truck. I pulled out of the garage and drove to the back of the range. I unloaded the guns, set them on the table and walked downrange to set up a few steel targets. I loaded my revolver, raised my gun, and looked down the sights then pulled the trigger. When I had blown through an entire box of ammo, I switched over to my M4 and unloaded that clip as well. My pain was slowly transforming into anger. The more I shot the more I imagined Viktor and Liam on the receiving end of those bullets. I truly could
MitchEver since the call from Ophelia, I’ve been trying to get in touch with Jason but wasn’t getting an answer. I was curious to know if what she said was accurate or if it was misinformation. While on the bridge talking to Axel, the captain of the ship, my phone rang, finally Jason was returning my call. “Hello?” “Hey boss, sorry it’s taken me so long to call you. Things have been a little crazy over here. But I’ve got some good news and bad news.” “I’ve got news also. My daughter called me the other day.” “Really? “Yeah, she said something about an ambush.” “That’s the bad news. They are planning an ambush. Viktor called a meeting the other night with everyone. They’re planning to post up around the port and take your gu
Mitch The next morning, I woke up to find Amber still in my bed snuggled against my chest. She looked adorable sleeping so peacefully. I carefully got up and went to the bathroom, taking a quick shower, and getting dressed. When I walked out of the bathroom she was still sleeping peacefully. I leaned over and kissed her forehead then walked out of the room. I walked down the hall and to the door that leads outside. When I stepped outside, I could see we were in the channel being brought in by tugboats to the dock. Placing my hands on the rail I looked out over the water towards land. I loved visiting Ireland; the country was beautiful. Should I ever actually retire, this would be where I would want to spend the rest of my days. I turned around and started walking to the bridge. Looking down at the bottom deck, I could see the guys getting the harnesses ready. There were paint buckets and brushes
Mitch We made it to Russia, two days ahead of schedule and were only a few hours from docking. Jax had the men on the bottom deck and was getting ready. They each put on Kevlar vests and the containers emptied quickly as each man armed themselves with weapons and ammo. I placed a call to Jason and told him we were only hours away. It surprised him we would dock early. But I didn’t want to take any chances. I wanted my men in place before Ivankov and his men even arrived. Jax had drawn out plans on where the containers would be placed giving us both an advantage and cover. Nathan and Oscar were busy setting up on the highest point on the ship, giving them the best vantage point. You couldn’t even tell there was anyone up there. Ben launched his drone and flew to the coordinates that Jason had sent of the compound. Once he was overhead, he informed me that there were abou
