“Mrs. Waldorf?” I fluttered my eyes up towards my secretary, drenched with proposals that I needed to scan by myself. My eyes spoke for me.

“Mr. Lucio Sterling is outside. He wanted to see you.” I almost jammed through the proposals on my table as I swiftly rose from my swivel chair.

“You should have let him right away, Philo. Mr. Lucio Sterling isn't someone we make wait outside my office.” Strutting towards the door and my hand, making sure that I look presentable, Philo followed my traces to the frosted glass door.

“Mr. Sterling, a pleasant surprise.” Through line of vision, I caught a few eyes glancing at us, muttering something within themselves.

“Please, come in,” I encouraged him warmly, disregarding the meaningful gazes of the on-lookers.

“You met my father?” I asked him as I perched in my chair. Mr. Sterling sneered.

“You're an angel, aren't you? After what he did to you, still, you deem him your father. You're nothing like Warren Hayes. You're like William Hayes.
