"The heck, Damian?" I hissed at him. Advancing to him while I taunted his chest, "This is the reason why I can't do it. Because you don't mean your apology. You'd always bite and snap when you don't get what you want." My voice rifting with frustration.

"Let's set this whole fucking thing straight." Alonzo came to my rescue. He was inkling me away from the brute, but I wanted to put an end to this conversation, so I stayed, impelling him away from Damian and me.

"I'm not all to blame for what happened to our relationship. You had your short-comings. I'm a man. I have needs, needs that you can't provide, but you fuck around with that lowly surgeon behind my back. You're a cheater too, Irina."

"Enough is enough, Damian. If you approach her one more time, try to terrorize her with your harassment, I'll file a restraining order from you," Alonzo said that made Damian leer.
